So, I just finished Season 1 of TNG.
I have to say I did absolutely enjoy the show again. I haven't seen the show like this in a very long time, I've been so used to watching them in different points that I've almost forgotten to watch them in episode order.
When I watched them as a kid, it was with my dad, and I never got to watch every episode since it was late at night, and it was on TV for re-runs.
Later when I got older, I would buy DvD of star trek, but they would be collections, These were not just TNG, but all of the Star Trek shows combined into a collection of themed like shows like the Klingon Collection, or the Q collection, my favorite is the Borg Collection.
Anyways, I wanted to say the last episode of season one, "The Neutral Zone" had an interesting actor. If memory serves, That's the same actor that plays later in DS9, as Gul'Dukat am I correct?
I plan to use this thread as a comment post where i add my own input on where I am for the series as i draw ever closer to start the next Series as it starts crossovers.

That's correct. The romulan commander of "The Neutral Zone" is played by Marc Alaimo which is Gul Dukat on DS9. Glad you enjoyed the rewatch, season 1 is definitely not the best but it still has some very good episodes and is important to the characters development throughout the series.

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the Star Trek: The Next Generation series! "Neutral Zone" actually starred Mark Alaimo, who later played Gul Dukat in DS9, so your memory is correct.I watched it on Blazzio Enjoy your journey through Star Trek!
