Evening all, I'm thinking of switching to one of my alts as the main space DPS character on my account; specifically a Romulan Tactical with the DPRM console and a crew of SRO boffs.
Are there any ships from Campaign 4 which you would recommend for energy/beam DPS? I'm thinking Valkis, Kirk or Mirror Constitution, though open to all suggestions.
Diemos was on my shortlist too but I'm likely sticking with Disruptor weapons because I have them lying around.

Which leads to 2nd question; will I likely be significantly gimping damage output by using Epic Disruptor Coils, and either the 'Linked' beams or Zhat Vash beams?
These are a mix of Integrity, Sensor and Emitter linked beam weapons. Though I am leaning towards the Zhat Vash beams for that stacking damage bonus.


And thirdly, I'm not adverse to spending credits on Doffs if needed, but cant see myself justifying the cost of the Liberated Borg Specialists.
This alt currently uses Vincent Kish, Exocomp and 3x Rare Energy Weapon Officers stacking CrtD. Plus Ang the Vicious, Neal Falconer and Elder Malik'itan assigned to ground slots.
