Star Trek Online - SFO Executive Officer

Star Trek Online is one of the important games within the UFPlanets Community's gaming divisions. The UFPlanets community is one of the strongest and long standing communities in Star Trek Online till date who offer its membership a platform to enjoy Star Trek Online.

SFO Executive Officer is a Command Position within the Star Trek Online Division. As the SFO Executive Officer, You are expected to run all the Starfleet and Klingon faction Fleets. This means you will need a character in all 5 Federation and all 3 KDF Fleets You are also expected to help the STO Command Team with recruitment, ensuring the STO Staff members are active and events happen regularly. The way you interact with your fellow Command Staff and Staff Member also plays a very important role, having a decent chemistry with your staff team plays a vital role here.

You will be entrusted with the promotion of Star Trek Online Division within the community and the wider Star Trek Online community. Ensure to bring with you dedication and initiative, this role will be one that will provide a great challenge. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to think on your feet, working with other gaming divisions to reach mutual goals and an overall view of how you will be taking the STO Division forward with the Head of Star Trek Online.

JOB DUTIES

• Recruit and help guide STO CL4 staff with their duties
• Develop innovative ideas and/or events to take the division forward. Discuss all ideas with Head of STO prior to implementation
• Be actively engaged with Star Trek Online as well as STO membership in the UFPlanets (In-game + Forums)
• Adapt the division to the ever changing/developing nature of the game and implement ideas which benefit the membership
• The successful candidate of this role would report to Novalance - Head of Star Trek Online

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Exams: Orientation Assessment, Officer Qualification Exam & Command Exam
• Communication is a key. Usage of Teamspeak and Discord is REQUIRED to keep in touch with staff and UFP Leadership.
• This is a position which requires some time to be given on a daily basis. Please ensure you are able to do this upon application.

  PLEASE NOTE: If it is a CL5 position, the successful candidate will have to sign the Command Position Agreement before entering the role.

Since communication is an important aspect of this role, you have to be willing to communicate with us over teamspeak and Discord if shortlisted as a prospect for the position. Having a mic is not as important as being available regularly on teamspeak or Discord. Communication via text chat is fine, even though voice comms is preferred.
