Hello Cadet, my name is Commander Ellis and I will be briefing you today for the simulation as a Starfleet Academy Cadet. This Simulation is designed to test you while you absorb the fundamental aspects of your training, and to prepare you for real encounters when you are assigned a station within a Starship. Make sure you meet all objectives to ensure you pass this sim.

CADET WILKINSON, CHRIS - TACTICAL | SECURITY OPERATIONS

YOUR OBJECTIVES CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Successfully Command your Security team to Maintain Order during the Matches
• All team members must survive
• You must survive

"CADET WILKINSON, YOUR TEST HAS NOW BEGUN..."

The Planet you are upon is called Veridian 4. There is a Diplomatic Conference between the Klingons and Vulcans in the interest of exchanging Martial Philosophies. Today is day 5 which entails matches between Vulcan Masters of Suus Mahna, and Klingon Masters of the Mok bara. You have approximately 4 squads of 4 security officers under your Command to maintain order during the matches. The location of the match is held within a large palace with coliseum styled seating. Most of the audience has already taken their seats... in a few minutes the first two competitors will make their way to the elevated ring. All four groups security officers make their way towards you for orders...

As the group of security officers approaches him, Chris looks around the ring for a final time trying to determine what the best way to have them branch out would be. He didn't expect there would be as many problems from any of the Vulcan spectators, however with Klingons in the mix you could never be sure.

"Well, as you all know this is our fifth day here and we need to try and keep control in the unlikely event something kicks off." he says looking among all of the faces in front of him.

"I'm thinking we setup and try and cover as large an area as possible, I'd like everyone to be in the first rows and try and spread out evenly around the ring." he pauses for a moment, "If you see anything which looks unusual report in immediately, we don't want any problems as you know what the diplomats will say.

The 4 squads of 4 security officers quickly took their assigned positions around the ring beginning with the majority standing in the first rows. There were slight murmurs from some of the Klingons as several of them complained about the number of guards now being clearly shown. The security officers began to pan left and right looking with anticipation for any potential disturbances from anyone within the audience. Loud klingon opera begins to play just as one of the two combatants began to make his way to the ring.

The Klingon known as Stegot Sulin wore a dark brown robe as his entourage followed him as he made his way through the crowd. A menacing figure Stegot stood more than 6' 10" feet in height. Several klingon women ran towards him and began to reach for him overcome by their feelings to make contact. Segot's entourage began to slightly push the women away from the giant Klingon.

Suddenly realizing the entourage was no more than 6 Klingons a large number of the crowd followed suit rushing to touch Segot's garments. Several Klingons fall as they are pushed to the flooring and cry out as more run over and begin to trample them...

Chris watched as the group of security officers began to make their way around the arena and taking up the positions that he'd assigned to each group. As he watched the crowd closely, his eyes darting around looking for any sign of trouble which could be coming the Opera music began to play.

It wasn't a particular favourite as to him, it sounded like a bunch of cats screeching in the middle of the night but to each their own. He was much more a fan of classic Earth music as it felt smoother and just better.

He saw the group including one of the combatants start to make their way towards the arena and his eyes immediately went to the group of women who came close.

In this mind, he realised this could mean trouble if more started to get the idea of making their way across. His heart sank as he saw them pushed away and the larger crowd began to make their way over, this was almost guaranteed to become a crush.

He tapped his commbadge quickly, "Wilkinson to all units, make your way over to group, we need to break up the crowd but avoid using weapons" he said quickly as he started walking over to the crowd, his concern now for the people on the floor.

As he got close, he coughed before raising his voice trying to sound more authorative. "Step back now!" was all he said hoping to get their attention away from Segot.

Quickly attempting to follow the orders given from their commander 2 squads of the security officers inter the crowd and widen large circles within gesturing towards their phasers and causing the female fans to disperse. The man-made circles also allow the officers to place their hands upon the fallen Klingons and give them medical attention just as Stegot Sulin climbs into the elevated ring.

The other 2 squads now had finished ushering in the entourage and awaited new orders from Chris Wilkinson just as new music begins to be heard. The hooded Vulcan now proceeds to make his way towards the ring as pictures are taken collectively. The vulcan is noticeably smaller in stature standing a mere 6' 2" in height methodically makes his way as drums and the flute being played by the number 1 known spiritual musician upon Vulcan reverberates.

Virsen Kaait Master of Suus Mahna now has the full attention of the crowd and paparazzi just as Chris notices a cloaked figure placing his hand upon his side just in front of Master Kaait. The paparazzi now move to fully encircle the hooded Vulcan as he walks closer to the ring...

Breathing a sigh of relief as he see's that the team had managed to get the Klingon to the ring without anyone else getting hurt, Chris also noted that the team were also providing medical aid to the ones who'd been knocked to the ground.

He knew that would mean that his overall team effectiveness would drop until they were handed over to proper medical professionals if it was required, he began to eye the crowd much more carefully to try and catch further problems before they happened.

He watched as the Vulcan opponent started to make his way over to the ring, he did notice that this male was about average for Vulcans although he couldn't understand Vulcan music, it always felt very, classical to him.

Noticing the cloaked figure placing his hand on his side and every wary of anything going wrong, he unholsters his phaser and makes his way closer to the group of figures. He also taps on his commbadge, "Wilkinson to all units, we have a suspicious figure near the Vulcan master. I'm heading there now but if anyone is closer, please head there as well".

He doesn't raise his weapon but keeps it ready to bring up at a moments notice if the figure pulls out a weapon.
