    This one is tough. He was a role model for me as a black child growing up. I still remember crying when his character Apollo died during Rocky 4. I also took it hard when he died during the Predator. In a way he was the "Black Panther" of my generation during the 80's. When he got the role of Action Jackson had to be the one of the first Black action stars during that time.

    He will truly be missed. RIP brother.

    This is sad - a loss to the NFL family (my thoughts to Raider Nation), but also a great actor and storyteller gone too soon. I loved him in Predator, he sold Colonel Dillon all the way through. That arm with the gun... classic.
