This was predictable they did it this time last year and the one before. i said last week it would be this coming week for the announcement

Definitely looking forward to this!

That ship looks pretty nice (even if just for the Admiralty card on other characters!) and I only have 2 other KDF toons, so this will give me a chance to fight for the Empire again!

I have seen a few people asking if it's worth doing these recruitment events, if you're one of them people who don't drop money into the game on occasion and are totally free to play then the answer is yes.

Yes, it is a grind and long-winded to get the rewards but overall they are worthwhile.

They are account unlocks and also give bonuses to your main toon.

In the current one, you are getting a bunch of traits and weapons a free t6 ship that will give you a decent trait.
