Technical Services - Technical Services Engineer
CL4 - Tier 3 (Lieutenant Commander)

Technical Services Engineers help ensure the UFP and its members are fully supported from a technical standpoint. They will assist members with various technical issues and have the potential to also work on minor projects as they occur.

JOB DUTIES

• Assist the UFP's members with technical issues.
• Triage bug reports and feature requests according to Technical Services policy.
• Assist with minor development work, such as Discord bot development or tools for the UFP.
• Any other tasks as assigned by Technical Services Command.
• The successful candidate of this role would report to Jess and Pedigo.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Exams: Orientation Assessment & Officer Qualification Exam
• Have been an active member of the UFP for a minimum of 6 months, or have been in a CL4 role for at least 3 months.
• Strong technical knowledge is required for this role. A background in development is preferred, but not required.
• Is it a CL5 position? No
  PLEASE NOTE: If it is a CL5 position, the successful candidate will have to sign the Command Position Agreement before entering the role.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If selected, the successful candidate must complete a technical exam and undergo a vetting process as part of the probationary period.
