So recently been poking around the console clickies for my main all science build and have been considering the new Chekov console as a replacement. It has pretty nice passive stats, +24.2 EPG and +10% CrtD, pretty decent so wanted to try it out. To my disappointment, when I slotted the thing, it doesn't give me the +24.2 EPG! I'm guessing this is a bug, but I haven't noticed anyone talk about it so am just asking here if others have experienced the same thing.

After: It didn't even change when I slot it in! Granted, the CrtD bonus does apply, thankfully.


Anyways, sort of a question to the community if they've experienced the same thing. I have a guess that this is sort of just a visual bug, with the EPG still being applied? But I'm not too familiar with STO in that aspect(honestly this is the first time I've ever stumbled on a bug in this game, at least one that was noticeable enough to me.) Testing this on my build, I've noticed next to no damage improvement. The console itself is pretty limp with the clicky being abysmal, at least compared to a lot of other stuff you can slot so all in all, this will most likely never be a mainstay even if the bug is fixed.
