    Hey guys so I'm working on an update to my old pure Sci EPG space build in my Verne Temporal T6-X2, I'm happy with most of the build in terms of ship gear but I haven't really kept up with the traits and was wondering if there are better ones I could be running instead of my current loadout.

    Currently I'm flying with:
    Enlightened
    Intelligence Agent Attache
    Unconventional Systems
    Terran Targetting System
    Fragment of AI Tech
    The Boimler Effect
    Symbiotic Ice
    A Good Day To Die
    Psychological Warfare
    (I plan to have Particle Manipulator here but I don't currently have Level 15 in Sci R&D on the character to get it)

    Ideally I need at least a good filler trait for Particle Manipulator until I can unlock it and I know Psychological Warfare got nerfed since the last time I mained a Sci character but I have no idea what a good substitute for it would be.

    So if anybody has any advice it would be appreciated. Smile

    Most of the traits you listed are still pretty common for EPG builds. The ones that jump out are Symbiotic Ice and Psychological Warfare. Psychological Warfare isn't bad, but Control doesn't directly cause damage. If you are chasing max DPS, there might be other things to slot instead, but if you want a little more grab out of your grabbity wells to pull things into the space magic death zone faster it isn't bad at all.

    As for Symbiotic Ice, this is the one I would suggest dropping first. Typically on a Verne, you don't want to prioritize energy weapons. As a 3/3 sci boat, it just doesn't do DEW very effectively so most Verne builds are slotting energy weapons only for a set bonus or maybe a proc. Adding a small bit of cold damage on top of a weak attack just isn't going to get you much, and there should be no shortage of BOFF power options to trigger something like the Five Magicks trait if that might be the rationale there.

    There may be other possible tweaks to make, but it is kind of difficult to know without knowing what else is on the build (e.g., ship gear, DOFFs, starship traits, etc.), and what kind of specific build goals you might have (max DPS, max Control, etc.).
