Episode postponed to next Wednesday

Due to STO's anniversary being today, and due to the fact that many fleet-wide events are being hosted as a response. Bondgadget76 and I have decided to go ahead and postpone today's episode.

We will see you on the 9th of February, for next week's episode entitled: "The Taint."

I would like to apologise for the inconvenience. We were both unaware of the events that were taking place today so we are both very sorry for the inconvenience it has cause you and other members of the SRP, but be sure that the next Episode will take place next week.

There is nothing on the events calendar in-game that I can see.

Though there may not have been any 'official' events, it was the STO 1 year anniversary, which came with a new patch which most people were eager to take a look at, and the patch was not available till 7pm which meant that most members of the SRP were on STO from 7pm and are still on it now. We felt it best that since a 1 year anniversary does literally only come once, we should postpone until next week. Once again sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused anyone.

I think under the circumstances it was the right thing to do. Just an unhappy coincidence it had to rest on the SRP day.

I am quite sorry for the postponement. I actually had everything prepared for the RP myself, however since, as Bond pointed out, STO's one year anniversary is a once in a lifetime event- we felt it was best to postpone.

Everybody knew about the anniversary for like 3 weeks before it was going to happen. We should have planned around it instead of leaving a decision just hours before a patch drops.

That "everybody" did not include Bond and myself. Therefore that statement is false. Anyhow, what's done is done, and to avoid a complete hijack of this thread's original intention it is now locked.
