    I've put certain points of this thread under a spoiler tag since these are the latest books in the series and are set around 5-10 years after Star Trek Nemesis.

    I recommend you don't read this thread if your new to the Star Trek Novels.

    Title: Typhon Pact: Zero Sum Game

    A spy for the Typhon Pact -- a new political rival of the Federation -- has stolen the plans for Starfleet's latest technological advance: the slipstream drive.     Im on book 3 atm. So far i love em. I really want a Vesta class explorer in sto lol

    I've only read the first book so far which I really enjoyed but I have held off on the others so far. I think the Titan books started great but went downhill fast after Orion's Hounds so I am in no hurry to read book 2 because of this, with book 3 I don't want to read that until I have read some more of the DS9 re-launch novels because obviously Sisko returns but I haven't read the details of his return yet and likewise with book 4 I want to read more of the DS9 re-launch novels to get a bit more of the character development for Thirishar "Shar" ch'Thane.

    Mark Rademaker (who created the Vesta class design) has mentioned about the Vesta class being added to STO so it looks like at some point it may well be added.

    Mark Rademaker (who created the Vesta class design) has mentioned about the Vesta class being added to STO so it looks like at some point it may well be added.
    Don't want to say much since you haven't read them but reading the DS9 relaunch isn't needed for this series, still reading them for the enjoyment is worth it.

    Glad to hear about the Vesta class, that is a ship I want to see in STO as well.
