These images look really good. Your compositions are spot on and make your eye move with the action or curves of the ship, depending on the image setting. Did you build all the models yourself? Probably the most detailed ship models I've ever scene apart form actual movie props. You also stated using Lightwave, are you using the default renderer or are you using an offline renderer? I think a few things you could do to make the images more realistic are to feather the shadows and use a single direction light for the main light source. Some of the images look like they are using a spot light and there is a falloff on parts of the model. Another thing to note for the deep space scenes is that there is no ambient light, or bouncing light. So parts of the model that are in direct LOS of the main light source are lite while the rest of the model are completely black, unless illuminated by either an external ship light or by the glow of the engines/weapons. Otherwise the scenes where there are a numerous objects or there is a planet/larger object near the ship you'll get that bouncing light.

Just my thoughts. Images look really good. Keep it up.

If you ever wish to use any of my mesh's from bridge commander or from my WIP's feel free, that is some awesome work. personally i prefer 3d max but that is just me, heres is my latest work
