You've been in {UFP} for two months. Yes, you have been active, but it takes time to get your foot in the door sometimes. It took me several months to get my position, and I eventually got to where I am today. You have to be patient--there are a limited number of jobs and a lot of people who have been here longer and have been active over a longer period of time. If you remain active, your turn will come eventually.
this clan has gone down hill for a while i sat here thinking how to build up reserves divstion and u give to some one who hardley ever on i sorry but this not good in the eyes of many central had birthday and co postion the day b4 seems odd u cant say reposts odd posts from pervious co is trying
Again, you've been in {UFP} for two months. You won't recieve a CO posting in that short amuont of time, no matter how good you are. It takes time, patience, and diligence to climb the ladder--not only in a gaming clan, but in just about everything else as well.
inless this chances or something is done about all this they i be saying my farewells to u all
I do not want to see you go, but if this is how you earnestly feel, you are free to leave. You must understand that you will not rise to the top of the ladder in a period of a couple of months. When you see a job post that you think you can do, apply for it. You probably won't get the first few jobs you apply for, but people will take notice. Eventually, after remaining active in {UFP} and contributing more and more in the community, you will find yourself holding more responsibility within the community. This will not happen overnight, nor will it reach its fruition in a matter of a couple of months, it takes time, and you have to have diligence and patience to persevere.
There are currently MANY job oppertunities in the reserves division. Once again, quite frankly, anyone who has only been in {UFP} for 2 months is probably not going to get the CO job, but there are many other jobs now open in that division that give you a chance to get your foot into the door. Each game in reserves requires a supervisor, and you certainly have a good oppertunity to get one of those positions.
If, however, you aren't willing to accept that it is a ladder that takes time to scale, then I don't recommend applying. A position in the community is very time consuming, and should not be motivated by personal advancement. The goal must be to better the community, and if you feel you have the skills to do this, you should apply for these positions in order to take an active leadership role in guideing the community.
If you have any further questions/comments/concerns, feel free to contact me.

First of all, you are allowed to take more than one position in the fleet, it's just that you can usually only take one CO/XO position. For example, I am the XO of Starfleet Personnel, which is a senior-level position, but I also have a regular, non-senior level position in Starfleet Academy. This is most definitely allowed, and sometimes, is encouraged because it allows one to get more involved in the community.
(think starfleet ) - if u work in starfleet accemmy how the hell can u be on borad a ship at the same time is less u cloned ? - just example the ones who know me can sort see where i getting it
With all due respect, I do not believe that analogy works in this scenario.
I say this because this is an internet forum for a clan, not a real place with a physical location. Furthermore, being a member of the academy and in "DIVISION A" does not mean you are in two places at once. All it means is that you have two jobs in the community.
None of us wish to you see you leave, but if you really do want to leave, you are free to do so. If you wish to talk, my door is open.
The mission is, and always will be, the journey itself.

Only thing I would I add to what my fellow officers have already written, would be that if you have any problems with a decision being made, talk to those who have made that decision. More than likely they will be glad to give you an explanation as to why it has been done.
Some clans you will rise very quickly, they will dole out ranks and rewards with little care or regard, and while it may feel great in the short term, I think in the long, it will feel pretty hollow. Besides I'd put the 7 years of continued fleet policies this clan has been running, against the policies of multiple start ups and fleets which have long bit the dust.
The decision is ultimately yours, but I think you'll find most "quality over quantity" style fleets will run very similar or identical procedures.

It;s not everything bad,you see, here's my example.I have been in UFP from july this year. Some members applied a month after me and when they applied for job, they got it besides they are the short period in UFP.That angries me.But,they had it coming because they were more active and contributed to fleet.I hav decided to promise myself to be active, very active in UFP,because that promises lot positions and better reputation.Glad to see you stay

Babyhead, I'm glad your staying here in the fleet
If I saw this topic earlier I would have posted but heres what I have to say.
I know you may not be getting positions that you would like and I would really like to help you out there and I really would. I will see what positions I think you should apply for and I will get back to you
I know how you feel. Without help I think I'd still be an Ensign. The Admirals helped me alot and I will help you

Guys what I would also emphasise here is that, you're all here to have fun, and that's it. Everyone will find their own version of fun, but for the majority it will be through simply gaming with like minded players. There is no "rat race" here, no need to climb the hierarchy. Ranks and medals are not a gloating tool, we've never emphasised either of these in our structure, they're merely there to award people who have the spare time and choose to dedicate some of it to keeping the UFP going.
We fully understand this isn't for everyone. Also keep in mind with STO not yet released, I think we can all get a little overly pre-occupied with admin, when there are few gaming options open to us. I hope some of this "pressure" to perform will subside when we're in game and collaboratively having fun.
