It is, after great internal deliberation, that I write this letter of resignation.

I recently have had a few incidents of a personal nature in my life that has forced me to reconsider my priorities and commitments.

In my current situation, my access to a computer will most likely be severely limited. In addition, my situation will most likely not include Star Trek: Online at its release date, or for any foreseeable amount of time. I also have increasingly less and less time that I can devote to the {UFP} as the pressures of both Magnet High School life and many numerous other commitments I have increased exponentially.

At some point in my future, if circumstances should provide so, I may rejoin the {UFP}. Hopefully, my situation at that time will be better than they are at this moment.

I apologize deeply to everyone who has come to rely on myself, and on my utter inability to complete those tasks. I realize that in Internal Affairs, the Harriers, and in the Falcons, there will be many disappointed people to see me go, especially so abruptly.

I ask that my membership privileges remain until the end of Sunday the 22nd, as I will be returning throughout the remainder of the week to wrap up all of my duties, and close any open commitments I have.

Best wishes to all of you, and I hope to somebody meet you all again, perhaps in Star Trek Online.

Commander Taisen... *salutes* you were one of the finest people I've ever served with, and I'm sure that the Harriers, and Internal Affairs wouldn't be where they were today without your help. You will be greatly missed Taisen, best of luck to you in school, and in real life. I sincerely hope you'll be able to come back to us soon!

Sad to see a fellow LV person go! Life throws us alot of curve balls all the time, and I know how crazy things can get with those magnet programs, I graduated from Votech (SNVTC at the time, but I think its called SECTA now...) Hopefully things will change for the better and you can rejoin the ranks sometime later. Feel free to add me on MSN, if you need anything let me know!

Can i request that we retire Tasien instead of him resigning so that if he does return he may retain his rank and medals which he has earned during his tenure with us. Call it a present from us to him

it is very responsible of you to still try to honor all the commitments you made here. this proves how reliable an officer you are, and have been in the UFP.
