Your most anticipated Novel of 2015

There is a lot of interesting books coming out over the next couple of months, I am particularly looking forward to the next TNG novel "Takedown" it seems to have been an age since "The Fall". I am also looking forward to the continuation of Seekers and Enterprise's Rise of the Federation ark.

Its going to be a good few months for novels, what are you looking forward to most for the next six months be it a novel, comic or reference book?

I'd say I'm most looking forward to "Takedown" at the moment. The story seems to be quite... adventurous (?) and dramatic which is what we always want, however it will be the author's first work in Star Trek, so a bit concerning there..

So I did a little extra reading in anticipation to Takedown coming out tomorrow and it appears John Jackson Miller wrote a ST:Titan eBook that wasn't well received and in addition is predominantly a Star Wars novelist. This does give me pause but I am still hopeful it will be a good read, has anyone read any of his Star Wars novels?

A bit of warning regarding Takedown if you're a paperback reader or were expecting to move on from The Fall, the author references his previous eBook Absent Enemies so far the references are minor however.

Edit: Freaky coincidence it also has a Romulan ship Accipiter which is what my STO romulan flies...

Interesting, thank you Trident. I've been reading a couple of the Star Trek books.

I like Takedown. It's sort of a transition from the overarching style that started after Nemesis all the way to The Fall series. Sort of like, Takedown is the point wherein they're going back to less arching storylines -- BUT, can still affect everything else.

My novel isn't a Star Trek one, but I'd like to pick up the second volume of series "A Certain Magical Index". Combination of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, and quite a fun read.

As for Star Trek books, I haven't read any because I don't know where I should start.

Pretty much Peter David is a good place to start, great list of books,

The Greg Cox Eugenics book was awesome. Jeri Ryan's are the only ones to officially be declared Canon but they aren't the best. Andrew Robinson (Garak) actually wrote a pretty darn good one. The Star Trek Vanguard series or the Typhon Pact series, depending on which time period you wanna read.

I'm not terribly into the books but the Peter David ones are probably my favorites. I enjoy the graphic novels on my Kindle Fire though. That and Get Fuzzy Treasuries.

i just finished q gambit comic series.....its ok. the art style of the new comics is really starting to wear on me :/

Is 9 out already? And yeah the fact that they were using JJ characters made me wary but the watercolor looking Warhol type art is what really got me into it. And the story.

theres only 6 parts (says so right o nthe cover btw) and theyre all out but yeah it looks like they just took stills from the movies and tv shows and photoshopped em. hell in most panels the lighting dosent even match on characters standing beside each other
