1. I enjoyed the second movie quite a bit. Cumberbatch made an excellent Khan in his own right. The first movie
remained debatable. Watching Vulcan blow up was not enjoyable to say the least.

Hiya Collective and welcome to the community.
1. I have to say I did enjoy them. I really enjoyed some of the cast. Especially McCoy (Urban), Uhura (Saldana), and Sulu (Cho) as I felt their performances and portrayal were great. And as of lately, I am finding myself very happy to see Mr. Nimoy's contribution in the first movie. The overall story, I'm a bit 'meh' on, but the new 'direction' for the cast I mentioned above was great, imho. For the 2nd movie, I enjoyed the whole Uhura/Spock argument (with Kirk caught in the middle) during the flying chase scenes. Wonderful chemistry there. The Krik death scene with Spock was good too.
2. I think I have to say Trekkie as it is more associated with TNG (Picard/etc). Trekker, from my understanding is the old ToS Kirk/Spock/etc.
You are not alone, Chok. I believe there are several *HUGE* Star Wars fans in this community as well.2. Also a big Star Wars fan so probably i will be called a traitor by the purist
