Greeting all,

In light of the release of Delta Recruits we have decided to open 3rd fleet projects on starbase progression and would like to ask that any member creating a character request an invite to 3rd fleet.

This will allow you to make use of your dilithium fleet only voucher and at the same time will also help progress the starbase.
You can still transfer your character between fleets but we would like to ask that your first port of call would be to 3rd fleet.

Good Luck with your temporal mission and please don’t disrupt the time line – we hate those visits for temporal investigations.

I would think the first port of call for my alts with Dilithium vouchers would be 2nd Fleet.

From what I can tell, everything other than Dilithium fills up in 1 or 2 days, then Dilithium takes like 2 weeks.

Logistically speaking, 3rd Fleet is where we feel that members should be considering dumping these characters. In most cases, people are going to run these characters up until the DR limit, then dump them. Plus, if only 50% of UFP members create a DR character, that's still approximately 350 new characters we need to consider.

This by no means prevents people from using 2nd Fleet - although I do remind people that there is a One Month inactivity discharge criteria on 2nd Fleet, whereas there is no inactivity discharge on 3rd Fleet with the exception of Roll-Call removals. Further, you can always move characters from 3rd to 2nd to donate, if that's what you'd like to do.

Can I also remind UFP Members that you may only have ONE character permanently assigned to UFP 1st Fleet at any given time. You may transfer any character to UFP 1st for holdings donations and purchasing, but then they must go back to their original fleet.

We've been processing requests to put Delta Recruits into UFP 1st, and unless this is going to be your primary character, you need to make sure you only have one character in that fleet.
