Away Team Mission Report

Stardate: 14FEB2015 0100 UFP Time

Mission Attendees: Jordan, Sharpkiller, Sammygm, Ben Hurley, Thaeus and Alexandr Kerensky

Mission Outcome: UFP held its second Star Citizen event and it was a great success. UFP pilots faced the Vanduul and each other in a series of combat drills and all were highly successful. Of course we all learned that one should never bring a Hornet to a Super Hornet fight. Great fun was had by all and things continue to bode well for the UFP in expanding its operations into the Star Citizen universe.

Stardate: 08MAR2015 0100 UFP Time

Mission Attendees: Sammygym, Thaeus and Alexandr Kerensky

Mission Outcome: A fun time despite a small turnout. Thaeus and I managed to bash our way thorugh all 18 waves of Vanduul Swarm, with a penultimate duel against 6 enemy ace pilots. Things looked grim when Thaeus went down after taking two of them with him leaving me against four. But UFP won the day! Sammy jumped in shortly afterwards for another coop and a good time was had by all. UFP is really showing its skill with this game and looks to have a bright future ahead.

Stardate: 17MAR2015 0100 UFP Time

Mission Attendees: Sammygym, Thaeus and Alexandr Kerensky

Mission Outcome: Free Flight Day worked out pretty well. For those who couldn't attend we hope that you take advantage of the availability of all the flyable ships! Sammy unfortunately suffered connection problems; but it was great that he still was there. Thaeus and I managed to get in a round of Vanduul Swarm which ended successfully despite my total inability to target anything (bug). Hope to see more members turn-out going forward especially when the multi-player free flight becomes available!

Mission Outcome:Enough people turned up to have multiple groups going. Everyone seemed to focus on playing tank battles, as this was the preferred choice out of Tanks and Planes. Sadly, I wasn't able to join in, but it seemed that both groups had fun, and destroyed a lot of tanks

Game: Star Citizen

Mission Attendees: Jordan, Sharpkiller, Dodgers and Alexandr Kerensky

Mission Outcome: Held a Star Citizen day with a great turnout. Ran through a Vanduul Swarm, a race, and some free flight skullduggery. We learned the valuable lesson that Jordan is not to be trusted in free flight.

Game: Star Citizen

Mission Attendees: Thaeus, Dodgers and AlexandrKerensky

Mission Outcome: Had a fun time screwing around in Free Flight prior to the new 1.1 patch rollout. Managed to stow away on board Dodgers' Avenger. But then he found me and threw me out the nearest airlock. I really hope that he doesn't do that to the bounties he captures before collecting the reward. Connectivity issues affected the whole session. Unsuprisingly Star Citizen spent the whole following week trying to fix network issues. Still some good clean fun and really enjoying these events; hope to see more UFP Star Citizens join us in the future.

Mission Outcome:
We had one 45 minute game, the four of us took on four AI.

There was a ceasefire at the beginning of the match, which lasted 15 minutes this allowed us time to setup our resources, and prepare our forces for defense.

As soon as the timer concluded I attacked one of the AI, and along with some of Jordan's reinforcements managed to destroy the AI without too many casualties.

Whilst this was going on, Sammy was having a small conflict with one of the other AI, keeping them at bay whilst me and Jordan moved around their flank.

All in all, we had total victory and managed to wipe out the AI in one swift stroke.

Thank you to those who came, it was a very fun event, and hopefully it'll be the first of many

Mission Outcome:
We played two games against hard AI. The first game went very quickly and smoothly, and so we increased the difficulty and took on 3 of the hardest AI.

After a long and arduous battle we managed to be victorious. There was a damaging nebula between us and the AI which acting as a buffer between our bases and there's.

After a short time the enemy starting pushing through the nebula and attacking our resources. The three of us held the centre and fought off multiple waves until me and Sammy managed to mass up an attack fleet.

Minnow continued to hold the centre whilst we and Sammy went round both flanks. Shortly afterwards, the relatively unguarded AI bases fell quickly to mine and Sammy's attack fleets.

Mission Outcome:we had a rough start with battle rating not agreeing we game we got put with higher battle rating for the first 2 matchs.

I thank ashley for running the second squad it was mch apperiated. <-- fail at spelling.

Mission Outcome:I split everyone up into equal teams, based on the Battle Rating everyone was wanting to focus on. The teams that were created from this split were as follows:

Myself, Cranker, and KerryMalone - BR 4+;
Ashley, Sammygm, and Sysil - BR 3+;
Begotten, Jordan, Sharpkiller, and Three of Seven - 5+ BR.

Whilst I wasn't in the same channel as the other two teams, I am aware that the event outcome was positive, everyone had fun and played multiple matches.
