Hi all,
I've recently started running into some serious teamspeak issues that causes me to be unable to partake in events with voice chat. I have a really fast and stable internet connection, but when using teamspeak (I only use this for ufplanets, everyone else uses discord) I start getting server disconnects. It's happened during the Overwatch event and now during the wednesday STF. When I don't run teamspeak there are zero issues. It's not my bandwidth, I use cable to connect to my router and have 100mb up and down.
Googling, I've found people with the exact same issue, but no answer alas.

Maybe your firewall is not allowing connections. Maybe there is not exceptions in the windows firewall.

I have zero problems when I'm not running teamspeak in any of the games. When running teamspeak, it all goes to crap. And not just on my PC, it's all for all devices. When my wife is watching Netflix downstairs, her program also stops on the TV. So definitely not a windows firewall issue.
Unfortunately I don't have admin access to the router so I don't know about any settings my ISP has configured in there.

How do you not have admin access? The default username/password should be underneath your router or in the documentation somewhere.

How do you not have admin access? The default username/password should be underneath your router or in the documentation somewhere.
ISP owned router. They are not using the default password and refuse to give it to me.

Wow, the ISP won't allow you to have access to their router in your house? How to do set your own WiFi password to stop others from utilizing the modem in your house? That's kind of messed-up.
Anyhow, I'm not exactly sure what Teamspeak and your Router are doing to each other to cause those conflicts... but perhaps an alternative method to use Teamspeak is via an iPad or iPhone app. With your iPad or iPhone connected to your wireless, it should not interfere with your computer's connection.

This may or may not help at all, but with my own experiences... IPv6 has been not playing nicely and causes a lot of packet loss (even if not being in use). I turned it completely off, disabled it, on the modem. Since doing so, I haven't had any disconnects (random that lasts for a minute or two).
This was suggested by some community tech guru's from my ISP. Funny enough the actual support/help desk had no clue about this.
What was explained (by the guru's not customer service) is that IPv6 is being enabled by the manufacturer's as a 'default' feature on the modems. However, some networks and servers are not fully ready to support this and it is causing packet loss/etc which causes disconnects.
You may ask your ISP, if you can't access your modem yourself, to turn off IPv6 on the modem.
