Not sure if I could say the same about the crying part, I very well might cry if I can get the game to work on my Windows 10. Armada was the second video game I ever played.

I can say that the guide above listed works!
I have personally proven this on multiple PCs with Win 10 now.

I know its a lot to read and can be complicated, but rest assured I got some better solution coming soon.
Right now the people I am working with are not ready to give it the official go ahead, but once it's done everyone should be happy.
I have some more people to contact in order to have this where I wish it to be.

I haven't downloaded the millennium mod as you said you were unsure whether it's crash the game, do you believe this is still the case??? Thanks

The MOD is in no way fixes to patching the game. If you can get armada 1 to work, the mod will run.
If you ca t get armada 1 to work, the mod won't make it run any better.

It's working but I thought the Millenium might make it look fresher as you can tell it's looking old on a newer computer!

the Mod look and plays very well, I just feel the federation is way OP, massing Defiants is like, always a win.
And the Borg.. get Op if you get inf resources

Gave installing Armada a shot again on my Windows 10 PC aaaannnd... no dice. The splash shows up in the middle of the screen, all goes black, and then I'm punted back to the desktop. Compatibility modes don't work and I'm out of ideas.

Really wish I could get this working, I've always wanted to play Armada again.

The basic armada 1 methods do need some more troubleshooting, have you read over those?

I gotta fix for armada 1 in the works, but until it's working 100%, I'm not officially releasing it.

Yes actually, I am currently working with someone to make a 1.4 patch!

Until it is ready though I'm not ready to release any trail versions I been working on publicly.
Most of the work has been on free time in between normally and daily routines.

I'll talk with my buddy tonight to see if you can give ya something to play with, but again, until we get the kinks working, I don't want anything to be a public release.

while we still getting the kinks out and getting a self installer ready for a upcoming patch for Armada I, I did manage to find someone who got it working with 1.3 and dgVoodoo. You can check the Troubleshooting sections above.

I am so down with some MP matches on Armada 1, it was my first Star Trek PC Game and still has a place in my heart. I've just setup a dual boot of Win7 and Win10 so I'm sure I can get it installed on either OS.

I am going to try the Windows 10 install tonight. I'll let you know how it goes, whilst I'm at it I will try installing EF1 & 2, Armada 2 and Bridge Commander
