So, until I get some of the templates up and running, does anyone have any questions? Let's get a discussion going before we get rolling!

We could also talk about what ship/characters we might play. I am torn between a standard Fed person in a Rhode Island class (love the Nova-family of ships) and a Romulan warbird. In time I will decide.

I wanted to play a Federation CO on a Sovereign class (actually the ship you can see on my sig/avatar). I hope that's okay

Perhaps you could put up a poll with a few starship classes and whatever gets the highest amount of votes in the poll becomes the starship we'll roleplay with? It gets the community involved then.

So we have a possible Fed Sovvy (Eagle) and a possible Rommie Norexan (Valdore) warbird or Scout vessel. Connor will probably play a Ferengi in a shuttle. *smacks self to get working on the template*

Yes, icon will come hopefully.

Now that I've put my ship template up I am thinking of something, and folks can weigh in on this. I am thinking that if the ship does a Captains Log (like a mission update or just a once-in-a-while check-in), we could put that in the Captains Logs sub-forum. Then if we do missions (singular ship missions or joint misions), we could put those in the Captains Log sub or maybe another sub, and link to those as well. This might keep the dossiers cleaner.

Sounds like a great idea to me! I am looking forward to taking part in this! Are we allowed to have multiple ships in this? I have one that I would love to go with, but I would like another

I never considered someone having two ships. Might take a lot to run just one, but I suppose i don't care if someone wants to try two.

To keep things easier to manage, it might be a good idea to at least set in place a limit to ships (maybe no more than two for example).

The use of the captains logs for the ship missions is a good idea.

In my own, I'll likely use tags in my entries to label whether they are RP entries or OOC. (since I'll be using mine for more than RP).
