I've been talking albeit briefly to the guys at Disruptir Beam who operate and design Star Trek Timelines and I believe it would represent a great opportunity for us to crossover some ideas about the game which we have as a community to see if our ideas they might put into game! I know there is a number of people who have played and still play the game and would think they'd love to hear from a group of Star Trek fans about what they think would make it even better.
i thought I'll get the ball rolling first in saying that I don't think there is enough ships on offer to use and would love to see the likes of the Sovereign Class, the Scimitar, Species 8472 bioship, Keldon Class, dominion battleship, just to name a few and I don't believe that there is enough character slots I always feel like I'm binning characters off!
i love Timelines and I'd love to hear your thoughts! I keenly await your suggestions!

A desktop application? I don't know, but the Facebook integration thing seemed like a good idea, but it didn't work for me, followed the instructions to the letter yet it started a new game on there! That annoyed me, so I stopped playing, can't they have a login system?
The actual game itself, when I last played, had gotten a lot better for getting more ships as a free to play player. The grind I think was the biggest problem, but it has gotten easier.
I think, one of the things that bugged me, was to get more character slots, at some point, you needed to spend real money, it would be nice if there was just an ingame currency increase on that one.

@Gustav We do but sadly it's full at the moment, I think a lot people don't play it, but I was planning on setting up a second fleet for the overspill characters.
Overall I would like to see two additions/changes. One some form of system which allows you to actually choose what character you get from the pack, especially if you paid money for dilithium. Second, something more to do for fleets, maybe collectively build a star base to get better rewards etc, as grouping together in a fleet doesn't really get you that much at the moment.
