Mass Effect Andromeda & Halo Wars 2

Hi!

Just a random one, as a big console gamer I'm curious to know whether their is any interest from the Holodeck CO/XO in supporting Mass Effect Andromeda and Halo Wars 2 - obviously they are massive titles for 2017 and have a big following!

If not don't worry - just be nice to see if anyone will be able to hook up with me when I'm on them thats all!

I don't personally plan on buying Halo Wars, and I'll get Andromeda for PC. If the rest of the community expresses interest in having Holodeck led events for these games on Xbox, and if someone is willing to step up and run those events, we'll support them.

Mass Effect Andromeda is on my 'to purchase' list for the PC. I'll be happy to run events for it when the time comes, although I won't be preordering it because I've been burned too many times...

ANYWHO... The game is nice, and looks amazing, but the combat, while fluid, much like DA:I, doesn't FEEL much like a Mass Effect game, and returning ME fans will find that it'll take some getting used too.

My main gripe is with the cover system, unlike ME3, it's not sticky cover, so when I started to play the game like I did in ME3, I found myself constantly leaving cover unintentionally.

Having the jump pack is pretty cool, and can lead to some cool situations.

There are some animation issues, the same ones that reviewers complained about (FemRyder's eyes, et al). The Customization system, while NOWHERE near as robust as DA:I, is neat, but you'll find that doing a custom job on your Ryder twins will lead to some... interesting results with your characters father. Mine made him look like a baboon.

PRO TIP for PC players: Remap the Vault Cover button, default is Left CTRL, it'll hurt your hand after a while.

If you download the trial, will the full release use the same install? Or will it be an entire new install?

I've browsed a little, not really looking very hard, but could not find anything that talked about that on their forum.

See that is a great question. The trial allows 10 hours of gameplay. It doesn't however specify if it's a limited 10 hours in terms of how much of the game is playable. So my assumption is that it's the full game and see how much you can get done in 10 hours

I am seriously considering getting it for my Xbox One, I am just worried as I logged well over 600 hours on the original trilogy, and my wife may kill me.. lol

You are actually getting the full game with the trial, and it will convert to a full game if you purchase it and you can carry your progress over.

Yes, and for 24USD/Year, it's not THAT bad.

I think personally ME games are by far some of the best gameplay I've ever enjoyed and it's so intense and gripping with the storyline!
