Announcing the Dranuur Colony Fleet Holding

Sounds like a big one, lots of new toys and gadgets including weapons, tactical consoles and kit frames.

It is, I can't wait to check the holding out on Tribble

Part holding, part adventure zone (have to gather the special provisions in-game, rather than just a resource sink), part battle zone (invasion mode). Sounds grand.

I remember when Starbases were on Tribble, the Fleet Alert wasn't a queue, but an actual red alert that would pop up and call players to come defend their starbase. I hope that invasion mode doesn't go the same way that did and become just a queue mission.

It'll keep us busy, that project duration reduction isn't very big, and probably doesn't hit the full 10% until tier 5 anyway, so I don't think it's really going to make much tangible difference.

The only possible downside to the new consoles will be the probably loss of the CrtH and CrtD mods for the heal so if the Dmg buff is not high enough they will not outperform the ones we currently have.

While true, there are a lot more sources for Crit than there were when those Tac consoles were introduced...so it is possible to compensate now.

I just did a tour of the new holding on Tribble and I have to say the idea behind it is good but so far it is executed very bad.

1.) It would require player activity that we have not seen since Legacy of Romulus.

2.) The way to get the required resources is so much fun it's crazy "SARCASM" seriously it's terrible.

3.) Most Fleets left in the game can't even dream to finish this holding in a year.

I honestly hope that it can drum up some interest for players again, but it's going to be a long slog if it's just a case of grinding out materials endlessly for the next year.

You need to be in a fleet on tribble to access it. There are quite a few and rules are lax as it's just the test server, i just searched for a fleet and PM'd whoever was online at the time to invite me..
