It's a rolling subscription - if you add the one crate option to your basket you'll automatically be charged for one crate every other month (£39.99 if you're in the UK). The next payment (after the initial crate) is due to be taken in December.

I'm a long term subscriber to the various incarnations of Loot Crate. I tend to skip months when there aren't any franchises I'm interested in. Sadly, for my bank balance's sake, that doesn't happen that often!

Sorry if this seems like a repeat of my earlier question, but I am still a bit confused by the information given on the lootcrate website, if the first crate isn't released until December, do they take payment upon pre-order or in December when the crate is due to be dispatched?

There's no such thing as a silly question.

Loot Crate operate on a pre-payment rather than payment on despatch system - so you pay in advance for a Crate that's due to be despatched at some point in the future.

You pay for the Crate that's due to arrive in the first week of December when you place your order now. Then on or around the 15th December you pay for the next crate which, as they're bimonthly, I imagine will arrive in February.
