Into the Forest I Go

I don't know there was nothing interesting about this episode everything was so predictable to say it quite frankly I was bored watching it.

Decent episode compared to last week's. As for the ending, I think the captain is up to no good, seeing as the one who destroyed Spacey's career stated that it would be his last jump and the return of the girlfriend admiral.
I think he's scared now.

Just watched the episode. The ship battle stuff was fine, story was pretty much limited here and was more dedicated for action effects. Not sure where Lorca took the ship to though, probably a parallel/mirror universe.

It was alright.

Pretty sure the Captain didn't intend to take them anywhere. I think as I've long suspected the last jump went hideously wrong and threw them out somewhere random (Hint...MIRROR UNIVERSE!!).
Stammet's got overloaded and he sent them to the wrong place, as he could effectively see everything at once. They are pretty much lost, a'la Voyager i suspect.

I was gripped watching it personally and found it whilst a little predictable a very enjoyable watch, it’s the alt. Tyler stuff that has me most intrigued - there is more than meets the eye than PTSD, Voq in disguise maybe? I can see Burnhams love affair ending in tragedy either way though!!!

I’m thinking maybe she has turned him into some sort of unwitting sleeper agent through torture or something.
But if they really are lost somewhere then it’s going to be interesting as they will have to potentially work along side the Klingon they took captive if they are to survive.

I'm beginning to think that Lorca is from the Mirror Universe, and has been stuck in our universe for some time, trying to find a way home and fitting in as best he can in the meantime. He intentionally overrode the navigation before the final jump. If you pause while Lorca is fidgeting with his chair panel before the jump, it shows that he is overriding the destination to an unknown location. He was very interested in the map that showed coordinates outside of our space. And he said , let's go home, before the final jump. The star base wasn't home to anyone that I know of, but where the ship ended up very well may be his home! Stamet's condition after the jump is probably his reaction to leaving our universe. I guess we'll find out next year!

Lorca seems to have his own agender that's not the same as Starfleet's the ending of the episode shows this by his over riding of the ship's system. As for Ash I will agree that he is some kind of sleeper agent for the Klingons, I do think he is human that has been brain washed.

The ending was interesting and I wish they hadn't decided to keep us holding our breath for a few weeks until they start releasing episodes again.

All the same; Mirror Universe encounter or Romulans have entered the series? I'm hoping for the Romulans.

I liked the episode, but was a classic "unnecessary cliffhanger". Bet that is a mirror episode, too.

We'll know very soon about where the Discovery went, I heard at the very end of last year (I'll be getting used to that for a few days) that the wait will end on January 7th.
