    a beautiful Ambassador class that never was. but should have been.... at least give us a Tier 6 version for STO LOL Attachment 8218

    Granted the Ambassador didn’t feature much during the show (they over used the Excelsior model instead to save costs) but its a lovely ship that to me, serves as the crossover point from the TOS era to TNG. It has the hull colour and texture reminiscent of 23rd Century vessels but the detailing normally found on the 24th century designs. It’s a nice little combo showing how the design was shifting across to the more modern aesthetic.

    Don't they already have a skin for the T6 Galaxy that looks pretty similar? I prefer the official Ambassador class design myself.

    I think you’re thinking of the Guardian class, it’s generally considered to be the Ambassador in all but name, but as one of the first T6 ships released, its not designed to use any other skins so a true Ambassador still eludes us.
