Mass Effect deserves an honorable mention, but as I've played them all to death (except Andromeda) I could live without them. Same goes for Pokemon.

The Elder Scrolls - fantastic series, Skyrim is one of my favourite games. I still find stuff to do in it I also have to complete Morrowind some day!

Fallout - obviously.

Star Wars - assuming this is all games, KOTOR, SWTOR, Jedi Outcast/Academy... I could practically live off these games.

Deus Ex, Total War, STALKER.... Total War - I need a strategy game in this list!

Fallout - definitely a keep, everything else is expendable if it was a single pick only in my book.

Star Wars - we’ll keep all those, even though certain entries aren’t to my tastes

Grand Theft Auto - I’d keep this just for kicks, though I’ve not played it in a while.

World of Warcraft - though I did recently stop playing again, its hard to argue with the impact its had on the industry as a whole, so regardless of what someone may think of it personally, that alone makes it worth saving.


Final Fantasy bores me stupid. I’d quite happily sacrafice that one 20 times over.

So I've been thinking about this for a few minutes, I've come to the conclusion that the four games that I'd like to keep would be:

Half Life (If only for the HL3 memes), Battlefield, World of Warcraft and Fallout.

There are a lot on this list I'd want to keep, plus like with the Star Wars one are we talking all the games in the series or just an individual title? Anyway it was tough but my 4 would be:

Fallout - Because I love the post apocalypse genre and Fallout is one of the best of them in the video game world.

Mass Effect - Love the series, love the characters, love the universe. One of my favourite franchises so have to keep that.

The Witcher - One of the best RPG series made in a long time, great stories, characters, world so that get's kept.

Now the 4th is the hard one, I love Grand Theft Auto as a series, love the Resident Evil series too, love Halo and Metal Gear but like Bedders said if Star Wars includes games like the Jedi Knight series and especially the Knights of The Old Republic series then I have to save those.

Elder Scrolls - just got done with another playthrough of Skyrim, totalling over 200 hours and there's still tons of stuff I haven't done

Fallout - much like Elder scrolls, there's just no wearing these games out

Mass Effect - as mentioned above, love the universe, love the stories, love the characters...I keep coming back to these games every couple of months...and that includes Andromeda

Star Wars - cause, Star Wars.


I haven't played any of the Witcher games yet, but keep hearing about how they're fantastic, so if I could include a 5th, this might be it...but I've got to leave it off this list because better to leave out a game I've never played than miss one I know I love. And it should be mentioned that my choices get exponentially harder if Star Trek were one of the choices...though maybe the idea was that Star Trek was an automatic pick and we're just filling out the remaining four out of five choices...lol

Final Fantasy XIV - Been playing since 2013 and will be playing it until the servers shutdown in 2184 or later. heh. Too much fun and it is just aesthetically beautiful.

Fall Out - So many ways to play it, add in the *vast* amount of mods, it makes the game completely different in many different ways that it can be a new game every time you play through.

Mass Effect - Just one of the greatest of all time trilogy for me. Always love the talks with crew, the Krogan are always my favorite to hang out with.

Total War - Need a strategy game to hone my mind and logistical wizardry to crush my enemies and all that.

Comic Sans is my favourite font! So I am going to do the rest of this post in it.

Doom - Without this game, we might be missing a few others! Doom, helped spawn a whole host of games, so defiantly a keeper.
Pokemon - Without this game, what would my childhood have been like? Got to keep this game!
World of Warcraft - Sunken cost bias, I have put money and time into this game, therefore, can't delete it.
Half-Life - Much like Doom, this game helped inspire other games, and should be saved! Also it's iconic.

There are some others here I like, but could live without, you know.

The Elder Scrolls- I have played hours and hours and hours of various Elder Scrolls games, including ESO and love the world that has been created in these games. It's a tough call but I would say that Morrowind is my most favourite game of all I've ever played.

Star Wars- Like most of us I am assuming that this includes all the Star Wars games, of them I would say my favourites are the Jedi Knight series and Knights of the Old Republic.

Mass Effect- This is a great series, although to be honest I have not played Andromeda yet. It is one of the few game trilogies I have played more than twice from start to finish, they really hit the nail on the head with these ones.

Halo- This was the first console game I ever played and the memories are very strong. Playing this split screen co-op on Insanity and trying to beat the Library level...those are cherished memories...
