There are two links for Space and Ground. In both a required field asks for a picture download. Can this requirement be removed?

Also, can the field be text-based versus using a picture? The current in-game skill tree would make using a picture almost useless unless the reader memorized the icons name and value. Using text-only would require more work on the user, but less work on the viewer (who is the one needing to "see" the build information.

Frankly, my hope is to use this template and see it used more often in order to establish more consistency toward efficient build discussions.

The builders need to updated as the specializations are still at 4, instead of Temporal and Strategy being there.

I think instead of having pull down bars for specializations, we can make it mandatory text fields.

I'm personally not keen to remove this requirement. I feel skills points should be uploaded as that's what makes or breaks a build just as much.

Really? because I personally find looking at the in-game picture more helpful than reading up. I feel reading up would need to have me memorize the points!

Perhaps we can have an option to not leave this field empty at all instead of demanding specifics of picture/text?

Maybe remove the "requirement" in order to let the poster choose to share this detail as either picture or text?

Allow me to use Bridger's posts as a comparison: the current skill tree only shows icons, but unless I've memorized what the icons mean, then an image is neat to look at but is less informative without text.

To be frank, capturing a screenshot, cropping it, saving to a host location to attach it into the forum post is effort that I do not perceive should be required to share a build with this template.

Alright then, going to be sending up the following for STO Command overview prior to troubling the technical team for further input:

COMMON SUGGESTION:

• Input text color options to be selected via pull down menu for each field for Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare, Ultra Rare & Epic options

SPACE BUILDS:

• Faction - Remove pull down options for faction and instead make it a mandatory text field to be filled. (Due to the future editions of STO - I think we can type it down)
• For Primary & Secondary Specializations - instead of pull down, make it a mandatory text field to be filled.
• Tactical/Engineering/Science System Skill Trees - Consolidate and rename system to "Space Skills" (In-game Jargon). Make the field mandatory for either option of text or picture.

GROUND BUILDS:

• Faction - Remove pull down options for faction and instead make it a mandatory text field to be filled.
• For Primary & Secondary Specializations - instead of pull down, make it a mandatory text field to be filled.
• Tactical/Engineering/Science System Skill Trees - Consolidate it all into a single field of "Ground Skills". Make that field mandatory for either option of text or picture.
• Remove "Space Skills" field from the Ground Build form.

It's really an option of having a local form v. STO Skill planner really. Both forms make life easy (and perhaps temporarily hard for the technical team while updating it).

On a bigger picture, it'd provide with various options for STO Community Members to look/post builds and get involved.
