Greetings Everyone!

It is my pleasure to announce the return of a modified Elite Strike Force concept, we have taken all the positive aspects and have removed what caused the most controversy in the past.

The new UFP - Special Forces will not be a separate division at start but integrated within
Starfleet Operations and the House of Kular.

While we start with Star Trek Online our plans are much larger and at one point we want to cover all games supported by the UFP.

Now I would like to share some of the details:

1.) The membership is open for everyone but your character has to be Level 50 or above.

2.) Teamspeak is not mandatory but it would make things easier and while it would
nice to talk with all of you a Mic is not required so you would only have to listen.

3.) We want to provide you with the best gaming experience in Star Trek Online.

4.) The membership will be split into four Teams, Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta.

The separation into the different teams allows us to pick the right content for you,
this does not mean that you won't be teamed up with players of different teams.

You can qualify to be put into a certain team by providing us with a parse of yours,
or by doing a parse run with the Special Forces.

Echo - Team: Support Players

Delta - Team: Players below 25K

Charlie - Team: Players at or above 25K DPS

Bravo - Team: Players at or above 50K DPS

Alpha - Team: Players at or above 75K DPS

5.) We also plan to run special Events like PvP - Tournaments, Faction themed runs
and much much more.

6.) The main goal of the leadership will be to support and guide the members trough the
different teams.

This includes training runs, build discussion and other things, so basicly everything we can do
from our site to help you to improve.

For the DPS league, that would mean you need to re-qualify because of the rebalance 4-5 months ago. Though unless most of your damage was based off a particular gimmick (FBP or Embassy consoles, etc.) it shouldn't drop much. I only lost around 4k or so.

The subsequent introduction of Disruptor/Phaser/Plasma toys actually increased my DPS from around 80k to 121k.

Does it need to be an ISA parse?

Because my main character's sci-torpedo boat has managed over 300K in CCA under the right conditions but nowhere near that in ISA (max there was 54K i think) due to the setup of the mission.

Sorry but CCA is a particular bad map for this the record there is 800K.

I can't speak for UFP, but CCA is atypical of STO content. It's a single stationary target and one of the very very few occasions where kinetic damage is better than energy damage - I literally cannot think of any other situation in STO where that's true.

ISA itself shouldn't be too bad with kinetic damage though, as the transformers, generators, and gate are unshielded. Odenknight primarily runs torpedo boats and he's listed at 122k, 112k, and 101k on various characters

Ehh no this parse was right after the rebalance to see the drop off from 164k

happy to re-do an DPS race if needed i stopped with that race after that rebalance run

might i suggest DPSmark for this. thats based on solo deeps not effected by team buffs etc just you and your ship.
