OMG, I was not prepared for the difficulty of Mt. Nibel Exploration on HARD.

My semi-blind team got their butts handed to them, and then even after reading up on it with all these things about how he'd counter physical and magic attacks with different things, and trying cover tanks and provoke tanks and everything, I got murdered another 3 times. Heck, a random dragon encounter ganked me twice. Yeah, that was 120 NRG worth of failure right there.

Read somebody going "Forget the missions, just gonna OTK him" with break + buff + Fryevia chain prompted me to try, and finally I beat the dang thing. Got all the missions, too!

Noctis for the +124% from Armiger. Just needed to fire Link +2 twice on the way to the boss to prep that LB. Enhanced Soleil should work as well, but you won't get the LB kill mission. Enhanced Ramza was what the commenter used.
Basch was already in my party, but a cheap alternative is Warrior of Light. Their purpose is Armor Eraser, because while the boss is vulnerable to DEF/SPR breaks he's immune to ATK/MAG breaks. I also tossed the accessory gives Escape so I could skip all the encounters after Noctis built up his LB (especially in case another Dragon showed up).
Ace was already in the party from previous tries as a mana battery, but anybody will do since his purpose was to carry the Siren esper for Hero's Rime, to pre-buff before Noctis' LB kicked in.
Fryevia (and friend Fryevia) to chain Frost Flower Blitz +2, mine had Bug Killer materia using Golem (which gives Bug Killer). Another chainer could probably be used, but Fry's FFB +2 is the strongest available right now and I was sick of blowing NRG pots on this.

Basch's Armor Eraser and Siren's Hero's Rime to start, then just tapped Armiger and the two FFBs. Boom, one shot and it counted as an LB kill since Armiger fired off in the middle of the FFB chain. Victoly!

Yeah, some of the groups I'm part say this is a straight whale event. I havent attempted it myself. I cant do normal trials the way it is, so probably wont be able to touch this. Thing about FFBE that bothers me is either you can beat it or not, which really sucks with events or limited events. Out of luck when it comes to gear that may be attached to boss fight like this or with mog coins (still bitter with the dragon saga limited event... wish they just do raid with limited event). Other FF games you can go into fights and can actually have a strategy with boss fights, such as healing or buffing then even damaging no matter how badly your team sucked. Here its either you got the trust items then you past by blowing up the boss or you dont and the boss blows you up. Super annoying. I wish we can have normal content where we can play like any other turn base rpg.

In case you don't know, The Heaven's Wept is in the Holy Explosion chain family.

It shares frames with Orlandeau's Divine Ruination, Fryevia's Frost Flower Blitz +2, Veritas of the Dark's Dark Punishment, and Agrias' Divine Ruination +2. That means with Dual Wield you can get 27-chains pretty easily.

We get 128.58 Lapis/CAD up here in Canada and it's 1.39 CAD. So ~179 in Lapis.
Expansion Vouchers are worth 100 Lapis, trust is roughly 10 Lapis per 1%, so 58.7 Lapis for 2 tickets.

That's amazing. If you're gonna spend money... well, the Fountain of Lapis is the best. But this is still a great deal!

1720 units clogging my roster now.

Also blew like 30 4-star tickets and 40 normal tickets trying to pull Rydia, then finally only got her when I did a 10+1. Darn kid.

Oh, OH man we got a lot of good news yesterday during the E3 stream. 7*, DQ collab round 2, Just Cause Collab, Anniversary crazyness, Equipment enhancement, QoL updates, Cactuar updates, fan fest units giveaway, and I'm probably missing some info, but its a good time to play FFBE!

I think one of the producers said they are giving away like 10k lapis worth of items. Im very excited for the Cactuar QoL. We'll be able to stack them haha. No more get 5 then enhance to get more space then rise and repeat.

Oh they havent confirmed who is going to be 7 star yet except for Rico from Just Cause collab. Reason it seems we're even having this is due to one of the producers just loves it haha.

Just make sure not to vote for the Cactaurs bonus thing, that's such a rip off.

Any of the other 3 options are better (Enchanted Maze with moogles, free daily summon, 1000 lapis per week).

That does appear to be the consensus on r/FFBE and I don't disagree.

Enchanted Maze is unreliable without further details, and 1000 Lapis a week is only 4000 total, which is less than a 10+1 pull. Not enough for even one step of a step-up banner, which is what Lapis is generally saved for.

At least it's my 2nd Roy so I can awaken the 1st to 7 star, but bah. Not spending Lapis on this banner, though I'll note it's a good one to blow tickets on since we get moogles.

I caved and pulled for Rico since his Moogles kept taunting me. I figured all the money I was no longer spending on Steam sales made up for it.

I pulled for him too just for collection reasons. I got noctis as well. What do people like from noctis besides his ring TMR?

Noctis with Fish +2 is an excellent Evade Provoke tank.
Alternate with Link +2 which gives a passable +45% buff to all and generates LB crystals for him.

Alongside Chosen King +2 which gives +50% LB fill rate, it makes Armiger available fairly often. That's a +124% buff to all stats.
I mainly use it for LB kills (with a chain) on bosses he'd been Provoke tanking, though.

Biggest use is in the Arena though, with Blizzard Flask being an AoE Stop and Fire Flask being AoE status effects if ice is banned. If status effects are banned he still has Lightning Flask to help casters get their damage in (and it'll still allow for status effects on weapons to proc).
