    Thank you for the write up. It was nice to learn more about this class of ship, I remember reading the book about Captain Picard's taking of command but cannot recall the name.

    You know the unexplained business with the 4 nacelles? Well it strikes me as the extra engines might allow it to work well as a tug boat of sorts, perhaps moving large objects such as starbases between systems.
    It sort of reminds me of the Nostromo from Alien, it seems to be a smallish ship that has disproportionately large engines for its size.
    My headcanon is that is was used primarily as a construction support vessel and all those hangers would help keep Worker Bees and shuttles etc close at hand if required.

    I agree Sul, before I wrote this two weeks ago I had always thought of it as a support and worker vessel, I think the reason I saw it as so was that of how I used it in the mod for Sins of the Solar Empire, Star Trek Armada 3. I always used it as a repair boat and would build 5-10 of them.

    As I stated in my last post just before I left for the states I would be covering the most iconic vessel in Star Trek, can you guys guess which one it is?
