I think deciding it's the Borg Queen is pushing it a bit far,could be wrong but i think this is just people jumping to conclusions.
Looks more like an Iconian to me, based on what we saw of them in STO.

Iconian would be awesome. Agreed that everything is speculation at the moment. I take it as a good sign that people are so hungry for more that they're grasping at straws for any news whatsoever. Now, if you made a series revolving around Captain Tilly, I'd be all over that like a rash.

I think Tilly is a cool character, but i'd prefer to keep her story believable. Perhaps slowly promote her over a few seasons but not go too high as it could be unreasonable. I mean there's higher ranking people who deserve it first, like Saru.

While it's certainly not beyond the realm of possibility that they're looking at the borg from an aesthetic point of view for a new race, I've my doubts it actually is the Queen, as leaping to that conclusion is probably dialling it up to 11. But as said, anything one way or another is just pure speculation right now. They could well end up pulling that trigger in the same fashion they did with the Mirror Universe or Enterprise with the borg themselves.

they did bring the borg into Star Trek Enterprise without really ruining anything. I do hope its not them though

OMG I've got it! Burnham is her own mother! That's why we haven't seen her at all. Then because Spock was involved in the time shenanigans, Sarek sends baby Burnham back in time to Vulcan to be raised by him and Amanda.

I agree could be anything . if it is the Borg I am very sure it will ruin the series for me I was and am still having problems with the Klingon look but they bring in the borg I wont be in a rush to watch it anymore maybe on a boring nothing else on TV show day. I mean way back original series when Klingon's looks prettty much like Humans then they brought out next gen Klingons I barely made it through at first , the only thing that kept me going was Data Riker I didnt like him Picard didnt like him I liked the idea of Troy, wesly another char I didnt like so Data was the only thing that kept me going discovery I liked the ship and the spore idea then the mirror universe which kept me going Borg will probably kill it for me . maybe it is just my Generation but I have watched every Star trek ep and movie even the you tube series ( which was not that good )

The Enterprise-D was the first Federation ship to make first contact with the Borg. That's just how it is. The NX-01 may have encountered the Borg, but they never see a proper Borg ship, the word Borg is never said. As far as the crew was concerned, they were nameless, hostile aliens.

Yeah the NX-01 encountered something that was likely classified by early Fleet Command. Considering Enterprise was hardly a civilian vessel running general transport duties it's not surprising that the encounter went unnoticed by most and was hushed up.
I actually thought it worked quite well as it presented a nice bit of background plot to the whole Borg advance itself seen from TNG onwards. It meant Picard and co actually caused the whole Borg interest in Earth, perhaps without their actions the Borg would never have been drawn that way, who knows.
