Greetings UFP Community,
It's my pleasure to announce that the time for our annual Elite Force Tournament, which started four years go, has come! It will provide a variety of rewards for the winners and will focus on the team based game-mode Capture the Flag. The tournament itself will run throughout the second half of September to celebrate the Anniversary of Elite Force, which got released on the 20th September 2000. The sign-ups will be handled in a separate thread and will remain open until the August 18, 2018. The dates of Round 1 and Round 2 will be announced after sign-ups have been closed. If the team you are in is not participating, you are not obligated to stay, but if you're absent when your team plays another player within the tournament will be assigned to fill your role - dependent on the teams participating in the match.

Alongside the text description below, verbal explanation of the tournament will occur prior to the start of the first round.
TEAM TOURNAMENT
Teamwork makes the dream work
Changing depending of the sign-ups to the event, the team tournament will be focused around at least 3 teams with 3 team members. Each team will be playing at least two 10 minute matches, where the teams have to capture the enemy's flag as often as they can or until they reach ten captures (whichever is first). Two rounds of matches will take place, where by the end of the second round the team with the least points will be knocked out, while the two remaining teams will proceed to the final. Details of the final will be released at a later date.
SOLO TOURNAMENT
The one man team is a complete and total myth
Note: The solo tournament will only take place if not enough people sign-up for the team tournament.
The solo tournament will be focused around FFA Disintegration, where four 15 minute matches will be played each round. Total kills and points will be totaled up, with the lowest two people being knocked out at the end of the round (dependent of the number of attendees). Throughout the solo tournament, the victor will be decided based on overall performance throughout the event. This could lead to someone who is consistently second place, but the first place player constantly changing, winning the overall tournament - meaning consistent good performance will lead to you doing well overall in the tournament.
The Battlegrounds
Note: Please make sure that these maps are all included within your game folder prior to the first round.
Note: You only need to download PRO_VOY1 or PRO_VOY2.
Both, the solo tournament or the team tournament, contain the same prize pool. Each member of the team, or the solo winner, will receive the following:
- The team/player that achieves overall victory will be awarded with the Combat Readiness Medal, if not already on the member's medal roster.
- The unique Legendary Achievement "Set Phasers to Frag" will be awarded to every member of the winning team. The solo winner will receive the unique Legendary Achievement "Disintegration Champion" .
- For 12 months after the conclusion of the tournament, the winners will also be allowed to state in their signatures that they were the winners of the 2018 UFP Elite Force Tournament.

Hey everyone. The Tournament will be delayed for a month or so due to personal problems that have beset JCarrill0.
Would everyone be OK with setting up this tournament for next week? Perhaps AFTER the UFPAC?

Was looking forward to this tournament this year.
Same, I was hoping to see more people interested. I have plans to do it still, but most likely be a solo Tournament 
I do apologize on the delay, had a family member get seriously injured (Tramatic Brain Injury). Most of my focus is making sure my brother-in-law is ok.
