just finished Enterprise series Now TNG

I just finished watching Enterprise and of course I was trying to figure out the connection between Enterprise and Discovery in season 4 of enterprise at first I confused because Mirror Universe Hoshi kills Captain Archer and declares herself Empress. and in Discovery Empress Georgiou took one of Hoshi's titles as her own to connect them. I am wondering though if the Discovery Empress is in any way Related to Hoshi?

after doing all that I started watching TNG and had forgotten how bad the acting was and the writing Mind you I am only in the first few eps of Season one. and Ricker is killing me I guess Picard isnt really as bad as I remember but he is still not that great . again it is only the first few eps of season one.

season 1 of TNG was not the best, I believe at the time there was talks of it doing badly and possibly not being renewed, but it got better Right after Riker grew the beard and continued to do great up until the end

It wasn't until Season 2 that TNG started to show the flashes of brilliance that'd we get throughout the series, though the season as a whole was still a bit hit and miss - Shades of Gray being a fairly spectacular miss, held up as one of the worst episodes of Trek in the whole franchise - once we got to Season 3, that's when the show found its feet and hit its stride.

Deep Space Nine followed a similar route, the first 2 seasons are a bit wonky, especially the first. Season 3 it got itself grounded in, but it (and subsequent series) never engrained itself in pop culture anywhere near to the degree TOS and TNG did.

man some of the writing is terrible lol people asking questions after the the answer was already given like this . Sir an unidentified craft is approaching us. then capt or No.1 asks can you Identify the craft that happens allot almost every episode that has an unidentified craft same question is asked ... . or No.1s spoiled child like acting . at least I am getting a good laugh so far in season one

The main issues with the first two seasons of TNG were really caused by Roddenberry. If they followed his vision for Star Trek we never would have made it past the first movie and the franchise would be long dead.

onto second season and am starting to get used to Picard but Riker man I really would like to slap that character , he acts like he is it asks stupid questions get jealous over nothing whines allot and doesn't seem at all like Star fleet or military Material at all

finished STNG noticed less Ricker as the series went on . Now watching Deep space nine it is kind of funny when Deep space nine first came out I actually didnt like it that much but now I actually am enjoying it allot mind you I am only a few eps in but I think that playing STO makes me actually like the deep space nine series better

I loved TNG, but I would have surely been interested to see a live action version of the mirror-verse of TNG like in the comics. Every series practically had a Terran Empire episode except TNG. Would have been really epic I think to see this version of TNG on the live screen... I put all my bets on Mirror Picard though

Besides we probably want to see Data pull a arm off like a Wookie can... Oops wrong universe...

Surely it would be cool, but I fear it would be too late for a live acting series. Because the actors, especially Brent Spiner, would be too old.
The possibilities would be either new actors or a drawn episode.
