    I watched it on the DVR. I couldn't risk that American Football wouldn't push it back 25 minutes, so I had to extend the recording by an hour.

    Anyway...

    I'm still not a fan of the ship design (I'm all about the Space Barbie!), but I like the rest of it. There's still a little "I don't know what to do with my hands, so I'll chop the air" going on, but it's very well done.

    This episode suffered from some "if two of (x) is funny, then seven of (x) is HILARIOUS-osity" as McFarlane programs are wont to do. The position of Dark Matter Cartographer actually makes sense. For the heathens out there, Cassius (brother-in-law to Brutus) was one of the Conspirators that killed Caesar, and a traitor! Brush up your Shakespeare...

    Open Arms is from Journey's album Escape. And yes, it works.

    Beginning 03 JAN 2019, The Orville moves to Thursdays at 9 PM Eastern, 8 PM Central.

    Coincidental Note: Immediately after this episode aired on FOX, over on Turner Classic Movies, they began showing Casablanca. No, really! It was WEIRD!

    ok, while I haven't watched the full episode, I was able to watch like 38-40mins of the Premiere thanks to an almighty VPN.

    It was weird hearing the actors in english, but I quite enjoyed the episode Big Grin

    Did anyone see the star chart in the front of the classroom during the episode? It looks just like the star chart in the classroom on TNG! That was definitely an Easter egg of some kind.

    I like that it's based on the Alcubierre warp drive, which is based on ST.

    I like that it's based on the Alcubierre warp drive, which is based on ST.
    Which is super cool. It's the rear aesthetic. I'm spoiled about that though. But that is my only gripe, so I watch the show religiously Smile
