Morning everybody,

What do you all think of a plot summary thread? If you can all spare a few minutes to PM me with a few details I can keep it updated and post it to the forums. I'm thinking of a list of the characters aboard followed by a couple of lines explaining what's going on and what's coming up for each? I know it can be quite daunting to trawl back through lots of posts to figure out who is where and doing what.

Anyway, just a suggestion. Please let me know what you think.

Hey just a quick thing, I made some uniforms for my character on STO. Any ideas which ones you would like?

First one I think looks okay for a pilot:

Third one, the one standard for normal crew:

Fourth one, the Odyssey uniform:

Fifth one, mainly off duty:

(Yes I should have put them in "Spoilers" but I didnt know how so errrrrrr)

TBH I think that if you want an outfit for when your character is flying a fighter, choose one you think is the best. The Fighters are your baby so their flight suits should be too as long as it isn't too outrageous. As for standard duty uniform, I think that either the Oddy or even the TNG Film era uniforms are good.

That's my 2 cents though.

When you say what's coming up, you mean as far as generally, not spelled out in detail, right?

This might be a good place to mention that I totally forgot an aspect of Asteropax's plan. Lt Kurts and some of the other MACOs were supposed to HALO jump through the shield on the Nausicaan island. I never got a chance to ask exactly how they were getting through the shield, but I have a concept going for that, working with what were already doing', so it kind of draws the continuity of both plans together. I'll send you some updates on what Kurts and some of the NPCs I'm writing are doing. Sorry I responded so late.

I accidentally downvoted this and I cant change it, YIKES! *L* As far as a flight suit, I like the first uniform, and I like the Oddysey as a standard duty, but go with what you feel!

I'll probably use the 1st uniform as a pilot jumpsuit, the 4th as standard and the 5th as off duty.

Right, just a brief outline so that everyone has an idea of what's going on and (vaguely) coming up so that everyone can interact and plan joint posts etc.

They're not actually MACO's as they were disbanded years before. It's more like the current federation's version of special forces but they got called MACO for ease of reference.

If I remember Asteropax's post correctly, I think the reasoning was that the Ares would be facing unknown threats, because Starfleet was once again venturing out into unexplored space.

I kind of like the addition, because it shows a Starfleet that is transitioning from a huge military campaign back into an exploratory entity. It creates interesting roleplaying opportunities. How does it affect an away mission when most of the security officers have spent years in deadly combat?

I learned that Allan Hood, my XO, was removed from his position during my LOA. Since I gave him permission to make changes to the Roleplay while I was away, I do not fully understand what happened. I intend on getting to the bottom of what occurred as I need to be fair to everyone involved.
