I'm sorry for being so sudden with this but I've become extremely busy in RL lately.
My Dad is going to be getting a knee replacement soon and I'm needed to help the family with preparations and the recuperation. I am also helping a friend who is moving into a new house. My workplace is also undergoing a lot of changes too.
With so much going on, I'm scheduling an official Leave of Absence from the UFP. I can't effectively lead the Roleplay and take care of everything else I have going on at the same time. I trust Allan, Josh, and Avenger to lead the roleplay while I'm away. I promise to be back as soon as I am able.

Asteropax,
I can empathize with you in that my family member spent the last 6 months getting first one, then the second knee replace --this time the day prior to Xmas. Coming from a family of Registered Nurses (Mother & both Aunts, *not* me) I know how challenging such a truly frustrated, but sincerely helpless, patient can be.
As for workplace turbulence, I can only offer my heartfelt wish that you find a way to not "lose you" among the tempest that those situations have often stirred-up within my own experience.
In summary, remember to TAKE TIME FOR **YOU**
It may not be time-smart to RP in STO, but give yourself that extra 5 minutes in a shower, or that piece of pie, or opportunity to count to 10 before addressing important issues...because you're not only worth it-- you require it to maintain any hope of health & happiness throughout this trying period.
We will be here when you return, and you will. We will be very happy when you return, and none would disagree with that.
But, remember, when answering to Corporate, or a family Patient, to not forget to remember to always remember YOU.
(That's why on airliners, the instructions say, "put on you own breathing mask FIRST, and THEN help others...even your own kids!" H*ll, the Army has the same rule with Gas Masks, but we say it a less-family-PG way, so we'll use the airline reference! )
You aren't alone. Plus, the toughest role to play in this Universe, is the one we are left with when all other parts are exhausted. And I bet your "role" as you is going to be your finest characterization/performance yet!
