I think someone in a communication pretended to be me, but I think he was in Fact a Terran. My crew has since reviewed the logs taken from Scientific & Engineering, and confirmed an Anomaly he mentioned in other thread was present, I just think he thought it was the reason for why he could access the core. It was likely changing the way people acted or responded, perhaps the Terrans found a way to inoculate themselves against it's effects.

Thankfully my duplicate portraying to be me by putting on Com Badge, didn't realize I was first an Engineer so we prevented the ship from falling into their hands. I suspect he likely got into Command straight out of the Academy unlike myself having taking an interest in Engineering.

All I now have of this encounter is the data left on a Padd, which is likely from the Mirror Universe. The data was not easy to recover, but later managed to restore some of it, along with our initial findings of a singularity / anomaly he referred. When we heard him communicate that, we began extensive scans, and this is what we found, though we'll be analyzing it for weeks or months, and when the Terran's disappeared so did the Singularity or Anomaly.

Note the team has assessed that this singularity was much smaller, significantly in fact, than what earlier Enterprise logs had encountered, yet I think they were using some technology to amplify their effects.

I fear the Mirror Universe team has found a way modify Singularity Cores, they may have captured in the Badlands, to exert unusual behavior, or increase the likelihood of their chances of taking Earth, or destroying the Alliance all together. Similar to how they couldn't get the Spore Drive to work, but adapted the technology for more destructive means.

We'll be continuing to analyse the data, but I suspect this won't be the last time they will try. We must stay resolute in keeping Starfleet & the Alliance Strong.
