Shocker!!! The continued existence of the known universe is discovered to revolve around Burnham! She's the key to everything! Wow! I really didn't see that one coming! That's sarcasm, for those who find Discovery believable. I wouldn't want to mislead anyone.
Pike is as advertised. He's the consummate Starfleet officer he's seemed to be all season. Nice way to fill in his story with what we know from TOS. Sad for Pike though.
So, Control is proto-borging people with nanites. The process results in dead people turned into nanite super-powered, reanimated corpses, controlled by Control.
My theory stands...Dr. Gabrielle Burnham, inside her time-suit, with sphere data and Control, becomes the Borg Queen. Since the time-suit can hold virtually infinite amounts of data, it could be used as bait to lure Control into the time-suit with Dr. Burnham, thus removing Control completely from Section 31's systems. Control may infect Dr. Burnham first, in order to bypass the DNA safeguards in the time-suit. Of course, Dr. Burnham will have done something to slow Control's assimilation of her long enough for her to enact whatever plan everyone has come up with. Something about some, or several of the pieces of that equation result in the Borg wanting to assimilate, and not necessarily to destroy. The time-suit could be destroyed after transporting the Borg Queen back in time to the Delta Quadrant, so as to minimize the threat to the Alpha and Beta Quadrants...or Discovery could spore jump them then and there, but I suspect the former option.
I don't see why it was necessary to make Burnham the focal point of everything that's happening. The story would have been better served by not making her the center of the universe.
The universe depends on you Burnham...don't let it go to your self-righteous head, how important to everyone's continued existence you are! I'm not worried though. You've shown complete emotional stability, and rational decision making for as long as we've known you....uhm...OH S**T!!!

Meh.
Didn't like this one all that much. It was cool for a minute or two to see the Accident, but it wasn't that great. The Klingon stuff was weird and it seemed like a lot of nothing just to get a MacGuffin for a future episode. Plus Saru approves the dumbest mission ever. Although, to be honest, I kind of like that Saru was modeling the Pike leadership style of implicit trust. It seems very TOSy. " Hey Captain, can I go do this stupid thing?" "Yeah, go knock yourself out. It's a free universe..." I like to think people just took care of business and didn't bother to justify things back then. Starfleet Command: Hey Kirk, I hear rumors that you ran into a ship full of supermen, what did you do?" Kirk: "Handled it." SFC: "Good enough. What happened to Lt. McIvers, where is she?" Kirk: "Somewhere." SFC: "Cool beans, K-Money..."

So I have a confession.
I've been watching Doomcock's videos on YouTube regarding Discovery. He is currently reviewing all of the episodes of Discovery. Not that this is a real surprise but he hates all of them. However he does bring up some good points during his videos.
One of the points he presented was why haven't they considered destroying Discovery to prevent the Data from reaching control? I actually wondered the same thing. We've seen it before. Kirk destroyed the Enterprise to eliminate a boarding party. Janeway (duplicate) destroyed Voyager to prevent it from falling into enemy hands. Jean-Luc Picard was even willing to destroy the Enterprise-E to prevent its complete assimilation.
This week after all hope was lost and the greater good demanded it. We saw the crew prepare to destroy the ship. If that happens I'll be surprised and a little sad. But somehow I think they'll come up with a solution.
The Timey Whimey aspect of Borath was a little odd. But at least we got to see Captain Pike's future. I think they did it justice.

Aside from TrekYards I try to avoid YouTube anymore. It’s hard to listen to some of those people as most of it is just shtick for views.
That being said, I had the same thought last week. Then I think back about all time times in previous trek that destroying the ship was a last resort option.

We are the Timekeepers... yawn, may as well have called the planet Gallifrey not Borath. Also, really obvious gothic church set was obvious.
The Pike thing was good to see, especially to see Pike willing to sacrifice himself to that horrific future for a greater cause.
Tig Notaro is a joy every time I see her on the screen.

Generally speaking most will be able to watch at close to the same time, depending on your local time zone or within 12 hours.
I'm just disappointed CONTROL acquired the computer core on that ship in this episode, in my post to the Terran attempted take over last Wednesday, at least my Engineer managed to keep his Mirror Twin from gaining access to it.
Regardless they held thru and it didn't get quite what it was after, but still have Leland (who is control) and Section 31 now coming not only for the sphere data, but now discover has added a special present of a time crystal.
Next weeks episode is going to be quiet well -- unusual -- yet think it's leading to a decisive moment, perhaps subtle yet "(of a mixture or effect) delicately complex and understated" so I surely can't wait as well.
