I had no problem knocking out the missiles. But I'm running a beam/cannon rig. Maybe swap in an Omni Beam (or the Kinetic Cutting Beam)?

It was relatively quick to finish and fairly easy to get through. But I may have gotten lucky with my team. People seemed to understand that there were jobs to be done, and we did them. I was shooting down missiles in my speed boat, we had a carrier (which REALLY helped), and some Space Wizards.

The TFO goes by rather quickly if you have the right ship ratio. Group I was in was mostly nimble fast ships with me chugging along in my vengeance, we did well, I took more of a vanguard role when it came to the satellites and defense when it came to the troop landing, I guarded the ships while my teammates took care of the missiles. When it came to catching Klingon's it was blast and snag, I blasted'em and my teammates snagged'em. I have't had that much fun in a TFO in a while.

Lol, now that you mention it I actually got a load of grief from another player last night because I did use Grav Well. Can't please everyone!

But i found that just hanging round the transports and using TS3 to murder the incoming Klingons was a useful enough tactic; I left the missiles to a Klingon Temporal Dreadnought that had a bazillion fighters out - nothing got past him.

So if the bonus "days" are actually 4-day weekends then that means you earn 400 tokens from that alone.

+ 14*50 for the TFO grind = 700 (possible slightly different as the bonus days will overlap some of this time)

+ you could buy the 10*TFO macguffin pack that also includes 10*50 tokens = 500

That's 1600-ish tokens just from one TFO grind, more than half way there. I reckon the seriously farm-heavy players could grind out a full ship in less that 2 Featured TFO grind-runs. And I think Kael did confirm on Reddit that some people will be able to do just that.
I guess in theory you "might" be able to squeeze 2 T6 ships out of it assuming the whole event/promo continues for at least 3 TFO grind periods?

Just to follow up on the Bonus weekend:

I did a little experiment with the TFO runs and I popped the first run on Thursday as soon as patching was complete. I was then able to do run #2 on Friday, 21 hours after the first. Runs 3 and 4 I did Saturday and Sunday morning. Because I timed the Thursday and Friday runs early enough it now allowed me to make a 5th run Monday morning before the event expired. I was able to get 500 discount tokens during the bonus weekend instead of the 400. This should work for other weekend events if people get behind on them.

I was away all weekend so I only managed 2 runs and today's to give me 300!

But not to worry. The buyout option is always there if any future TFO's clash with my schedule and that gives you quite a lot of flexibility as you can then double up on a whole event pretty much.

It's not 1 token. You have to earn 3,000 tokens to get the Free T6 ship coupon. The ways you earn tokens are:

Featured TFO Runs - 50 tokens per 20 hours
Featured TFO Bonus Run Weekends - 100 tokens per 20 hours
1 Time Buyout option per TFO - 500 tokens

They said you have to earn the 3,000 over 3 featured TFO's ending in mid-summer. Once the event is done, it's done and if you didn't earn the 3,000 you will just lose them.
