I haven't been overtly thrilled with the 25c Spin on the Discovery Ships.

But the Buran class has me excited.

Not so excited that my main's Andromeda Class starship is going into Drydock since I've put WAY WAY WAY too much time, EC, Dilithium, and actual money into it. However I could see an alt taking command of one. lol

If you've not already got it, the Gagarin class (T6 Shepard class) is a lovely ship. Easily my favourite as I docked the T6 Connie in favour of it.

The Europa is a hard one to love isn't it? It's not the worst looking ship in the game, but there's just something about it that I find rather off-putting

Well, you could certainly buy a box of ten keys, and sell them for 4mil each to then buy some bits for the Buran on the exchange, or use them to open a few infinity lockboxes. The Operation reposite buyout bundle is also an option if you dont already have the defense satalite.

50 bucks = 5500 zen right?

The new cruiser is 2500. That leads you to 3000 zen left. If you don't already have the Arbiter Battlecruiser, you should buy it. The Starship trait coming with it is really, really good. And the battlecruiser is pretty sharp. It also has a fleet version. Also unlocking it will give you a universal console that absorbs damage, then heals your hull and shields, besides some passive defensive bonuses.

you can buy the fleet version without the bundle from the zen store, but it'll cost you 5 fleet modules and I think 20k fleet credits and you have to wait until your two week trial period is over and your promoted (that's not so bad right?)

She is as fast/slow as the Galaxy, so put on Prevailing Impulse Engines, Conn-Hologramm and Emergancy Power to Engines and done.

That is part of the problem, she is just like the T5 Gal-X of the T6 generation

There are more massive ships that handle better....have better layouts

That's the best way to do it. Having the C-Store version unlocks the ship for all your characters and gives a permanent discount on the fleet version as it reduces the cost to only 1 fleet module. Not that it may matter with the Braun, but the fleet versions dont have the trait unlock or console included.

It may be a touch more expensive upfront, but the flexibility and long term savings it provides are much better over dropping 5 fleet modules.

Thinking about it, if some intriguing builds are created for these ships I might, strong might, get me one. Probably the Klingon one since most stuff comes cheap for them.
