Greetings members!

As some of you may have spotted on the previous Warframe thread, there has been an incident regarding the in game clan, Brothers of Mortem. I will be providing as many details below as I can, however the complete details will remain confidential due to the fact that we still have active and ongoing relations with this clan through the game and to protect the privacy of people involved. This has only been disclosed to my superiors that are involved with this clan, Bedders and Lazereth.

Background

Over the past few weeks, there has been an ongoing event in game under the name Hostile Mergers. This event was part of the latest mainline release, the Jovian Concord, and the introduction of the newly revamped Gas City tile set on Jupiter. This event allowed the players to obtain special Vandal weapons. The part of the event that most people disregard is the one where, if a clan reaches the top 10% of it's respective clan tier (based on the total clan score from this event), the clan will be granted a special weapon to research in the Dojo and make available for all of its members. This time, the Brothers of Mortem clan has not reached this goal, and they did not gain the weapon.

Due to this recent failure, the clan leadership has decided to restructure the clan itself.

What happened next

After the event has ended and the clan did not reach the top 10%, it was decided by its leadership that the clan will undergo, what they refer to as, a purge. This purge consisted of 3 phases that are listed below.

• I Phase - Regular Purge - will be the usual inactive member kicking routine. (anyone above 14 days of inactivity will be kicked)
  
• II Phase - Clan Average - Clan Average is a term describing an equation used to calculate Clans required activity during the event. Equation - half of clans maximum capacity possible (in our case 150) x lowest amount of points required for certain individual to acquire all the rewards provided by the event (in this case 4000) = Lowest amount of points required for certain clan to acquire all the rewards provided by the event (in our case - 600000). So we will be kicking all members who didnt score any points (0) in the most recent clan event Operation: Hostile Mergers.
  
• III Phase - Survival of the Fittest - Council of The Brothers of Mortem unanimously agreed to downgrade our clan from Mountain clan (300 members) to Storm clan (100 members). We will handpick the 100 most valuable skillful, helpful, social, knowledgeable, active members. This way we will have less fluctuation of inactive members and focus on making 100 members that will remain in our clan the best they can be.

Current status

As of now, the clan has removed approximately 186 members from the clan, without so much as a notice. I have personally vouched for all our members in the clan to prevent them from being removed. Unfortunately, due to the missing notice from the leadership, I was not able to do the same for our member Infinity, who has been removed in phase 2.

This clan has also been reduced to a Storm Clan, which means it has a hard cap of 100 members. We are currently on 98.

Needless to say, none of us, especially myself, are happy with this turn of events. The clan leadership claims that they are focused on socialising and on fun, despite what is said above. over the coming weeks, I will be keeping an eye on the development in the clan and any important changes, after which I will consult with Bedders and Lazereth regarding what our next action will be.

For the time being, the recruitment into this clan will remain suspended due to the current status and limit of members in the clan.

The Clan is called "Everotters" (name of the group of friends hehe), and we have no activity requirements, we only ask that you be good (behavior wise and I know you are) and that if you can or want to, contribute to Clan Research if we have any going (we have pretty much everything done anyways).
