Event Outcome: This was the first STA 3 event with the latest expansion of STA 3: Uprising. All of us were looking forward to experiencing the new minor factions in a multiplayer setting.
We set up a semi random large map and played a Federation / Klingon allicance against an AI consisting of 2 Romulan and 2 Cardassian teams, so 4 opponants in total.
Some of us had to get used to the new diplomacy, making allies and utilizing the minor faction planets, instead of conquering them outright. After some Fed muttering and Klingon curses slowly the advantages began to become clear and the extra options that the minor factions offered were put to good use in all the fleets.
Vivi and Nidrock18 were closest to our AI opponants and especially Nidrock was put through the wringer by a double Cardi attack on his systems.
We had put the AI on 'hard' setting, which turned out to be a little on the optimistic side. Slowly but surely the AI started to wear us down and after a few huge space battles our fleets were no longer capable of staging an offensive and we were pushed into defensive positions.
After 3 hours of gameplay we decided that we wouldn't be able to swing the situation to our advantage and decided to call it a night.
But we all definately decided that we needed to try this again soon

Event Outcome: The game started off a little slowly as there were a few technical issues that needed to be worked out but we did get going around 8PM. We each took a turn on the stations of the Aegis while running through the campaign missions offered by the game. We succeeded in our first shakedown cruise (albeit we managed to damage ourselves with our own torpedo (Thanks to GriffinTalon for that one)) and save 12 souls out of the 300+ that were onboard the Kobayashi Maru without being destroyed by the Klingons.

Infinity took us through our last two missions with the penultimate one taking a short amount of time as we managed to skip saving half of the stranded folk in space when a Klingon ship decloaked and threatened us. Our final jaunt was against the Klingons again and we were unfortunately destroyed, but we took out a significant number of enemies with us.

Overall a very productive night which I hope will be repeated again soon.

Event Outcome: Tonight we started off with a fourth person who joined us from the public and we focused primarily on the TNG DLC on this occasion. We were clearly the Enterprise D's Night shift as we were on such an iconic ship and it's the only way I could explain our performance. So our first mission was against the borg and while we did manage to get a number of the components, the last was destroyed (accidentally by our Tactical Officer) with us being destroyed in the end by the Cube.

Our second mission involved a random mission which again turned into the borg mission which we unfortunately failed again.

We then took on a defensive mission where we managed to build up a small flotilla and took out a number of Romulan ships in engagements of increasing side which we succeeded in quite well as our hull was only down at 87% which for us was definitely a record I'd say.

Finally, we had an exploration mission to examine some Gaseous anomalies which ended up with a number of fights both against pirates and Romulans. After checking out all of the anomalies we answered a distress call from a science ship which was under attack. We had disengaged from a Romulan D'Deridex to be able to do this but it followed us. After defeating the pirates attacking the ship which was under attack we then fought with the D'Deridex, however it proved to be more than a match for us in a weakened state. When it cloaked, we beamed half of the survivors aboard and warped out of the system to report back to Starfleet. We barely made it out as the Romulans had decloaked and were firing on us while we waited for the warp coils to recharge.

We finished this mission with only 2% of our hull remaining.

Event Outcome: We spent the game just taking potshots at each other. Griffin and I were on the same team as Jordan seemed to be a large fan of shuttles.

At one stage we had 3 separate Jordans flying around as he'd been dying in the shuttles. Overall, it took some Breen madness to bring some balance but Jordan definitely reigned supreme.
