So here's something I noticed. I have two screens, two monitors, exactly alike, running on two different video cards. When STO is running, it runs full-screen on the left, everything else runs on the right (browser, spreadsheets, SCM, whatever).
When I'm working in the right screen, the left screen goes dark. When I'm playing STO, the right screen brightens. I'm thinking this may be why I can't take decent screenshots with ALT+PRT SCRN or just PRT SCRN.
The thing is, I have no clue how to test it. I don't know why there's such a big difference between what I see in the shots I set up in STO and the actual quality of the picture I capture.
Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?
