Hi all,

We have decided to start up our own Elite Dangerous Squadron, UFPlanets. We have aligned ourselves with the Federation superpower within Elite Dangerous, as it seemed the only logical choice. We decided upon making a Squadron to benefit us for the future, with the addition of player owned fleet carriers which are mobile stations in essence, that are going to be released in a future update that is going to be very neat. Bedders does own a private group session which we all play on, so you are welcome to join that as well, please just ask.

Recruitment for the squadron is open and we will be accepting any UFP member that wishes to join our clan in Elite Dangerous. There is a cap of 500 players per squadron which is certainly enough for us. If you are interested in joining the squadron, please PM Mack and we'll get you added.

Had made 16M but lost a good chunk of it yesterday when I bought the ASP Explorer. It was an investment though, with help of ASP, I've already made 13M back. Now it's the road to the Chieftain! And moving towards Federation Space for me!

OG Beefy Chiefy is good, I have one and I loved using it. I still have it but when I get around to finishing the materials collection and engineering on my Mamba, that will become my go to medium ship

This game is honestly the best purchases I've made in a while. It has the perfect level of challenge and reward system. And if exploration is your thing, this is great honestly. I'm completely hooked to this at the moment. Their ship classes are very dynamic - do not go over the default manufacturer descriptions. Its amazing how much you have to configure in the ship and how much open minded you have to be to work with it to work with you.

The only thing about the game is the default HUD is customizable. I did try configuring my HUD but later noticed that profile colors and other menu colors were disoriented in other menus, so I decided to remove this HUD I was playing with a while for:

I also progressed enough with Courier data intel missions that my allied factions give me lucrative 2.5M+ Planetary Scan Jobs! This bit is quite fun and quick money - once you've mastered perfect orbit approach, the perfect glide, and ways to surveil the site prior to landing (so that u know which sentries to shoot down where - if they are there), and mastered to control the Rover. It's sluggish as hell.

Hunting as a group is better for the 10M massacre ones. Chugster, Bedders and me went hunting yesterday for cool 10M ish. Though I realized I was an ally with Brothers of Mainani, now I'm degraded to a "Friend" as a result. Could've been worse, and worth the money anyway!

I gave it up after my youngest took a great interest in the Rover Buggy and basically stood there till I let him play so quickly solved that by deleting the game a few years ago. Enjoyed the exploration side of the game dabbling into combat and trading every so often. Can't remember if i'm already in an ED group but will download the game and have a look :-)

make it on Inara, a lot of ED players use it, so you're bound to get some traffic that way too

Good suggestion, but on INARA it only shows Infinity in the UFPlanets Squadron and not the other members ;o

I think most, if not all of us, use Inara. As that's literally the first thing Bedders had us setup.

I suppose what you're trying to say is update our squadron details on it?

Looks like members would have to request an invite to the Squadron on Inara, doesn't pull data from the in-game one, unfortunately. I suspect it won't be used much by us due to this. If members do happen to request to join the squadron on Inara, make sure to let me know so I can accept.
