first of all I'd like to thank this group for being so welcoming and second of all thank you for changing my STO experience forever ! I have implemented a new FOV and my goodness what a difference !

I forgot how nice that little escort is. I wish we could have an updated skin for it or even a T6 version.

thank you, My favourite has always been the nova class but I'm just not happy with the ships textures so having a break from that class. also my character is tactical so this ship makes more sense. I didn't like this design when i first saw it in first contact but it has really grown on me

Ahhh the Steamrunner, my personal favorite First Contact design, with the Saber and Akira pulling a very close second and third.

I find that my personal appeal with the Saber is the same as the Nova - I like tiny ships. Big ships like the Galaxy or Sovereign are gorgeous, but I'd figure that most ships in the fleet are more to the Saber's scale. It's a nice idea to imagine a few dozen to a few hundred Novas continuing the legacy of their Oberth forebears by just chilling out in deep space or around planets doing some science.
