They do better in damage and seem to last a lot longer

Buff means something like "big with muscle" sort of like Arnold Schwarzenegger. In gaming parlance when something is "buffed" it receives some added muscle, making it stronger. You want your favorite ship buffed, for example.
Nerf is a brand of toy popular in the 80's & 90's, which are foam rubber balls that are soft and weak enough that kids can pelt each other all day with them and not get hurt. "Nerfed" then is to make something soft and weak, so you don't want your favorite ship nerfed.
I know this post was probably unnecessary but I wanted to post it anyways

Bought the Legendary Pack and the Legenday Miracle Worker Flight Deck Cruiser is my favourite so far
It is indeed a VERY good ship.
I like the Advanced Phaser Beam Arrays with their little specialty (5% Chance: 60% Critical Severity for 15 Seconds - Scales with number of Advanced Arrays equipped). This can be... funny!

One question, in the second slot for your Lt Cmdr universal you appear to be using something I am 75% sure is a cannon-related ability. Why is it there if I can ask?
