Isn't a T6 token better because you can get any T6 ship rather than 1000 crystals for a limited amount of ships?

Lobi ships are also T6, and they're not available for zen, so takes longer to get.

Hmmm, we all know how hard lobi is given you have to have lockbox keys to open and get lobi or R&D packs and get lobi... but to have an opportunity at 1,000 lobi... that is a real steal. I would take that over a T6 token right there; I would also bank on waiting for when Cryptic does a lobi discount sale (because you know they do that sometimes) and I can get more for my lobi and choose what I want and get a ship at discount plus gear too.

I think that is a better option seriously...

Lobi is where I'm going, who knows maybe we'll get a new lobi ship eventually.

I'm really happy they added the lobi option. The store ships are nice but Lobi is a pain in the rear to get.

I'm looking forward to the coupon, the only ship I've got at T6 is the Alliance one from the last event. I love the look of the arbiter so I've got my eyes on that

The Arbiter is a very good ship indeed!
I can recommend it to you if you like battlecruisers.

I know they've done it before, but this is a great way to get newer players into a T6 ship of their choice without dropping $30 at minimum. I lucked into my favorite T6 during the Lobi sale, but that isn't to say I wouldn't want something more TNG'y.

I'm thinking of getting the lobi token as there's a couple of traits that I can get. There's Superweapon Ingenuity for the BO buff and Invincible for when I decide to play a tank. I'll probably see if I can snag some lockboxes over the coming months to make sure I have either the Lobi or the EC to buy both.

On a side note: I took my Legendary Glenn class into the Binary Stars last night, moved to intercept the first group on the right of the map and my Grav Well pulled half the map into it. A DRB2 and a torp spread or two made everything melt. I love that ship!

1000 Lobi seems a good alternate reward though, I already have a free T6 token with nothing to use it on.

Yeah...I still have my last one, saving it for when the Earhart comes off the exempt list. The lobi is probably more worth it...
