For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to display my inner geek in my own home and over the many years before I had my own home I would collect random things from Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, several model kits, and random comic book figurines and over the following years during my time in the US Navy those things would get lost or irreparably damaged in the several moves I had to do. Now that I am comfortably embedded in my own home without fear of having to constantly move and break my toys I have started over and have been slowly building my, what my wife and I have been calling, "geek shelf". Today I added two more to the shelf; a 1/24th scale KITT from Knight Rider and a 1/24th scale DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future.

So do any of you have one? Post them up if you got them!

I've just got the one above my desk at the moment


Shelf 1 has my Berserk Fuhrer Zoid model, the Lapras my brother got me last Christmas, a couple of D&D minis I need to paint, my Omnimon Paladin Mode figure, and my Babidi, Meta Cooler, and Ginyu Force Dragon Ball Super TCG decks.


Shelf 2 has my Pteras Zoid, my Black Series Jaina Solo and Revan figures, a souvenir from St. Croix, my Starship Collection Enterprise-B, a couple of painted miniatures, my helping hands, my 'paint palettes' (ceramic tiles from the hardware store with rubber feet to keep them from scratching my desk) and Darth Vader


Then Shelf 3 mainly has mini supplies, green flock in various shades, basing paste, etc. plus a Lego Knight Bus and X-wing Arc-170 and Decimator

Here we go. Mine's still a work in progress after the move as I've not added lights yet and there's certain things I can't put out otherwise the kids will run off with them (noticed today my tribble has disappeared) and the drawers contain an assortment of boxes and cables. Also included is the bridge, otherwise known as my desk.

Always good to see a fellow Fallout Fan! One of the things I don't have on display is a Pipboy mug. It's quite large and I keep it in the box so the kids don't get their hands on it.

You couldn't see it on the original photos, so this is the canvas I have on the wall behind my chair. (The light is reflecting slightly on the surface so the quality isn't coming through)
